Overall I always have a good experience buying vehicles from Erhard but there’s always a but. Detail, service, and finance could improve some. The service department should have discovered the 4-5 dings du from Erhard but there’s always a but. Detail, service, and finance could improve some. The service department should have discovered the 4-5 dings during the CPO inspection that I found during the delivery process. Detail had several days to detail the car and yet we found many dirty areas upon the car at delivery. This dealership had this car since July 2020 as a lease turn in from San Diego, CA. It may have been used as a service loaner or maybe during the summer for a dealership associate. Yet, the finance department or back office did not have the title at closing and now we have to use a 10 day temporary tag instead of a permanent tag. I expect the title will still be an issue after 10 days and then we may get another temp tag. The dealership claims it is due to COVID. Finally, I did not have a full tank of fuel and the sales department is trying to pin the dent repair on me. Hopefully these things won’t happen again when I get ready to buy my next BMW real soon!
