The vehicle was returned to me with a clean bill of health. However it did now have a cracked windshield. I inquired about the window and was told "that can happen".... Two weeks later the "service" lite came on. I call the dealer and they stated it must be a mistake and someone must not have reset the indicator. I took the vehicle back for service and was told it needed new front brakes, had an oil leak and the window would be $1500 to replace. I was shocked. I asked why it was not found and received no good answer. I asked to see the issues first hand. It did need brakes, the front INBOARD pads were worn. It seems that the complete check does not consist of actually looking at anything. The dealer was nice enough to pay for the labor of the window, if I bought the $700 part..... It turns out the "oil leak" was "not and issue..." After completing that service I picked up the vehicle and headed directly to the airport. On the way I decided to use my wipers. They are on the wrong sides...... I called the dealer and they wanted me to take more time from my schedule, bring them the car again for a visit. Beyond that I received a notice that I needed to schedule a service visit for my "oil leak". When I contacted the Service manager I received no return call. I call the adviser again and finally received a call from the service manager. While on speaker it was clear that Mr. Polk was not paying attention. The background conversation was very apparent. I will not be returning to this dealer. My next purchase will be from another BMW dealer. More

While the repairs were being done, I wanted to see what I could get as a trade in if I was to lease a brand new vehicle or purchase a certified 2 year old car. I was completely floored when they offered me about $2000 less than what the Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds.com lowest price. Yet, for their Certified Used car they are asking over $2000 more than the maximum value according to KBB and Edmunds. If you expect me to pay you more than KBB and Edmunds, then you should give me more for my car as well. What a double standard! As a car, BMW is an amazing machine, but as a dealership, they don't even want to meet you half way. And I don't want to even start talking about their ASTRONOMICAL prices for relatively simple jobs. I was told my car had a 6 year 100k miles warranty which wasn't the case either. Everything that the dealership told me was false when I signed the papers and there was no way for me to revert anything. Warren Nakamura promised to take care of the registration and titling process but after 15 days of buying the car all I hear is i don't know when it will get done and I am helpless. I now have a car that I cannot drive and no clue when the registration will get completed. Overall terrible experience and dealership from the start. I would not recommend this place to anyone. More
Disappointingly deceptive Returned new X5 to Erhard to investigate the fact that speedometer is not accurate. Reaction was one of 'surprise', 'you must be mistaken', etc. They Returned new X5 to Erhard to investigate the fact that speedometer is not accurate. Reaction was one of 'surprise', 'you must be mistaken', etc. They kept vehicle for 5 days and we then discovered the defect has been known by BMW and dealers since 2012 and many other customers have had the same complaint. The Erhard MO in this cases: Deny, lie, stiff-arm then shrug when caught. Speedometer doesn't work and we were not even offered so much as a car wash for keeping our car for 5 days while they perpetuated the deception. More
I want to make it clear this negative review is not because the dealership couldn't match the price, that I completely understand. This review is because of the honesty of the salesperson (Paul Billec because the dealership couldn't match the price, that I completely understand. This review is because of the honesty of the salesperson (Paul Billeci) and the lack of service from the Erhard service manager (Robert Cornwel). It is a shame that if you are open and honest with a sales person that they cannot be honest as well. I recently called and spoke with Paul Billeci of Erhard BMW of Bloomfield Hills, about a X3 I was interested in. I told him that I already negotiated an "out the door" price for a very similar equipped car at a different dealership. It had the same miles but had also had the cold weather package and home link systems. However I was willing to pay the same amount for the car on their lot because of the color. Paul mentioned that he couldn't give a price over the phone, which I completely understood but reminded him that I was not willing to negotiate on the price. I asked if I should still come in for a test drive and his response was yes we can work something out. I then proceeded to alter my entire plans for the day to make the 30 mile trip to the dealership for a test drive and purchase. Dropped the kids off at the grandparents house and arranged the necessary financing at the bank. After this was all complete I decided to give Paul Bilechi a call again to confirm that I was a very interested buyer and ready to purchase today but i was not willing to negotiate on my previously given price. His response was that he had talked to his management and was confident that we could work something out. So I then arrived at the dealership and took a test drive and then confirmed with Paul that I would like to purchase this car for the agreed upon price. So up until this point everything had gone about how I expected. Upon hearing this news our salesman Paul says that is great, let me go talk to my manager to see if we can workout a deal. At this point I had my first inclination that there would be a problem and I should have listened to my gut and just left. Anyway I began to get increasingly agitated as forty minutes passed without hearing back from the manager. When Paul did finally come back it was not to give a price but he asked for information on my other deal and at what dealership. I responded that if they agreed to my price I would gladly tell them the dealership that I previously planned on purchasing the vehicle. After this they did finally come back with their "final", they agreed to the price but said i just had to pay the six percent Michigan sales tax. I then had a senseless conversation about what "out the door" meant to the sales staff. Needless to say my blood pressure went up at this point thinking of all the time and effort I just wasted with these unprofessional salesman. I thanked them for their time and walked out of the dealership. A couple days later I got emailed a three question questionnaire asking how my service was at Erhard BMW from Robert Cornwel the "Service Manager". The first two questions were yes or no, but the third was how I was treated during my visit. My answer was the same as above and I let him know that I would be contacting BMW and providing negative feedback in roughly a week. This would give him enough time to rectify the situation if he felt my service was not up to Erhard standards. Shockingly I have still not heard back from him, hence the rating you see attached. On a good note I did end up purchasing a 2012 x3 from Ganley BMW in Cleveland Ohio and got excellent service. The price was exactly as advertised and I saved a ton of money even factoring in the gas cost and the fact I had to take a vacation day to do it on a Monday. Just a shame I had to drive an extra 150 miles to get the service I deserved. More
Much more polished experience compared with their east side competitor, they earned my future service and sales. Marc Driscoll was professional and enthusiastic. Jan 2013. side competitor, they earned my future service and sales. Marc Driscoll was professional and enthusiastic. Jan 2013. More
Sabrina Rolle, Erhard of Bloomfield Hills, was a pleasure to work with. Sabrina and I came to what I believe to be a fair price for a great car. Sabrina set me up for delivery of my 2013 X3 through the Driving Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC. It was a fantastic experience that went off without a hitch--all we had to do was show up and I and my wife were treated royally. We drove an X3 similar to the one I purchased and was able to drive it to MY limit. The car certainly would have gone a lot faster and done more crazy things than my stomach would allow. I was impressed with the X3 before I attended the one-day driving school, but now I think it's an unbelievably safe and intuitive vehicle. Sabrina, thanks so much for making this buying experience one of the best I've had. More
I am always treated with respect and honesty at Erhard BMW. This is my 3rd car with them and I have only good things to say about the sales and service department. They are honest, helpful, sincere, and BMW. This is my 3rd car with them and I have only good things to say about the sales and service department. They are honest, helpful, sincere, and fair. My sales rep (Ron Peurach) was very accommodating about delivering my new car to me when it was convenient for -me-, and he went out of his way. My service rep, Chen Yen, has -always- done whatever he can to take care of me and what my car actually needs. There's NO reason to look further than Erhard if you're in the market for a BMW, or if you already own one and need service. This is one of the most fully customer-oriented business I've ever dealt with. Period. More
Best car experience I have ever had. Very professional and not trying to just sell me a car.
