Matt was wonderful to work with —even though he had just started a couple of weeks earlier I was impressed with how knowledgable and dedicated he was. The only hiccup in the process was the total amount of time it took to complete everything, but that is partly due to it being a busy Saturday and also due to Matt's thoroughness in making sure we considered all available options so we would be happy with our purchase. The staff, facility and overall process steps were of a high caliber. Matt and Mike were excellent in terms of customer interaction and focus. And I love my new X3, which was very reasonably priced. My wife and I purchased a BMW X5 in January her and I was so impressed with the new X5 comfort and design that I came back and purchased a 2020 X5 for myself. Al Stoll, the Client Advisor and Tom Munyer, the BMW Product Specialist were terrific. No pressure, and very accommodating to our needs. Al is a pleasure to work with and Tom knows everything there is to know about the X5. The modern BMW today is a high performance computer on wheels and Al and Tom explain exactly how to incorporate all of that technology into your driving experience. The BMW X5 is simply an incredible product, but its sophisticated technology and stylist looks were totally eclipsed by the deal that Mike Gargano, the BMW Sales Manager put together to win my business. Make no doubt about it, Mike runs the "Deal Desk" and his mission is to make the customer happy. I can't say enough about the entire BMW of Barrington sales team. Love the cars and love the people at the dealership. No game, no pressure, great trade-in price and the the total experience was a pleasure. I have purchased about 10 cars from Motor Werks over the years and that is not by accident. Motor Werks continues to represent the highest standard of excellence. Chris Lima, the General Manager made it a point to introduce himself and see to it that I was being well cared for during my visits to the dealership. Finally, my decision to buy the BMW X5 is strongly influenced by my previous experience with the BMW Service Department. It has always been exceptional in the past and I attribute that to Erik Swanson, the BMW Service Advisor. He is a BIG part of why I continue to purchase my cars from BMW of Barrington and I can't say enough about how well he treats my wife and I when we need maintenance on our cars. If you are considering a new car, save yourself some time and money and go ask for Mike Gargano at BMW of Barrington. It will be a "One and Done" car shopping experience. More

Agnes reached out to me quickly and I had the best price for the model I wanted before I set foot in the dealership. Agnes knew that I had another dealership I was negotiating with, but my wife and I quickly realized that we had a much better experience and support arrangement with Agnes and Motorwerks than the other dealership and our other past dealership experiences. We appreciate how fast she was able to provide answers to our questions for the extended warranty and other service plans we were interested in. Agnes and Ryan (finance manager) were a one stop shop for the purchase and follow up without any back and forth sales process. We did the deal right at Agnes’ desk and no bouncing around the sales floor. We also had the best pricing for 2 cars that we traded in on this purchase which also helped put us in a happy place for this entire experience. I will be working with Agnes again on my next BMW purchase and will strongly recommend any family and friends to do the same at Motorwerks of Barrington. More
Perfect used vehicle and low pressure environment I was looking for a specific uncommon used car year/model, so I visited several dealerships in Chicagoland area and at most of them I was pressured in I was looking for a specific uncommon used car year/model, so I visited several dealerships in Chicagoland area and at most of them I was pressured into making instantaneous decisions and presented with a vehicle in which I had to find and point out defects. It was NOT the case at BMW of Barrington. The car was in perfect condition and Robert Dunfrund was friendly and professional, but never pushy. I also appreciate not being pressured into buying extras since I was already over my original budget. I'm convinced that this car will provide years of enjoyment for me and my family. More

They were with me throughout the ride and did not skip a beat until we found an X3 right on their LOT! It was a great price, friendly experience, and I will go back in the future. Nicalette is about as pleasant as they come and they REALLY ARE A ONE STOP SHOP...start to finish! More

It should also be used to describe how they treat all their customers, whether they are brand new to BMW like my family or previous customers! Buying a car can be stressful, scary and worrisome. Most times you have to deal with aggressive salespeople who live off of commissions, and then hope that you have haggled/gotten the best price. From the moment we walked into MotorWorks BMW of Barrington, you could tell this was a different dealership. We were kindly greeted right away, and asked if we needed assistance. We informed them that we were looking to test drive a few cars that we had seen on their website. We were then teamed up with Leo Khodos – our BMW Client Advisor. He shared with us that he would become our single point person who we would deal with all aspects of buying a car. He first wanted to make sure we were comfortable and informed us of the free Starbucks (this won our 12 year old daughter over) the dealership provides to their customers. He patiently listened to our wants and requirements, as well as explained and answered all of our initial questions. We had mentioned that the night before we had seen their “One and Only” ad on their website. As he explained the program to us, he jumped onto his computer and pulled up the ad from the website. He informed us that these were not actors, and pointed out some of the people and their positions in the company. He apologized for being relatively new to the job, but if he had not disclosed this information up front, you would have never guessed it! We can’t say enough about Leo! As we spent the next three hours with Leo test driving a few cars, it was finally time to sit down and start to make “the” decision. Even though Leo was the so-called “new kid on the block” as we began the decision making, we had the pleasure of being introduced to the Michael Gargano – BMW Sales Manager. He came by to introduce himself as well as check on us as we worked with Leo to make sure that any questions we had would be answered. We went through the financing options, buy or lease? New or certified pre owned? They were both patient and were certainly not aggressive with any sales pitch! They really took their time to listen to all of our questions and concerns. The upfront disclosure of the costs and process of buying from them was very transparent! Their philosophy is that the customer can gather all of this information off of the internet, so there is no reason to hide anything. The program called “One and Only,” reminded us of the old Saturn concept, one sticker price for the car (no need to haggle) and one contact person you deal with at the dealership. This program is rare in the car sales world, and for the timid car buyer, it makes the process simple and painless. As we narrowed down and made the final choice on our new BMW X2 28i the “One and Only” program mentioned that the process would be completed in approximately an hour and they were not kidding! All the forms were electronic and you can even see the timer running on the screen if you want! During this time both Ryan Durso – BMW Business Director and Christopher Lima - BMW General Manager came by and both introduced themselves to us and made sure we were comfortable and were very friendly. The atmosphere is certainly that of a family business and everyone is treated the same from the customers, to the Client Advisors, and the managers. Once the vehicle was ready, we were then introduced to Thomas Munyer – BMW Car Genius. He patiently walked us through the ins and outs of our new vehicle! The extraordinary team at MotorWorks BMW of Barrington made our car buying experience one of the best experiences ever! More

Robert and the entire team, (Chris Lima, Mike Gargano and Victor Najjar in service), spend the time making sure you feel good about this investment. We were between two different versions of the same car. One was in the showroom and another on the lot. They went out of their way to park both cars next to each other to help us compare and make a decision. This was very helpful and not something they had to do but they went above and beyond to help us. I also like the streamlined sales process where we did the whole transaction at Robert’s desk and didn’t have to wander around the dealership talking to different departments. Much more enjoyable and efficient experience. More
