Very bad experience, bought a 705I and when taking delivery we were told that the car needed to come back because they just noticed a computer problem when filling the car with gas. Took the car back and problem was worse, car alarm sounds all night and all day, engine is running rough and sounds like a tank. Comfort access doesn't work nor does air conditioning. I take the car back and they say it is a bad key, leave the car for a few days and they say they cant find the problem, then they blame the technician telling me he programmed the PC wrong. Take the car back again and it was there a week, they say there are electrical problems but they dont know where to find them. The front tire squeals and they say it needs new breaks? Now they say the car needs new door handles and that takes another 2 weeks to order and a few days to fix. The car had multiply dents they said would be fixed but they weren't, they told us to just deal with it. This dealership was Tate BMW and was known for their bad demeanor. This dealership will sell you crap and make you feel bad about buying it! hang out there long enough and you will hear their salesmen joking about peoples bad credit, and laughing at potential customers! TY BMW of Annapolis for selling me a 7 series that runs like a 1980 Ford! My sunroof makes so much noise when closed on the highway you cant hear yourself think, they say that is normal, a BMW flaw! Bull Chit, they don't want to fix it! DO not buy from them! This dealership has the worse service department, they act nice to sell you a car but God forbid you bring it in for repairs! My wife and I were waiting in the service department and Heard a service rep avoid a phone call, yelling," I don't want to talk to that xxxxx right now, I don't have time for her!". Nice people you have working for you, same people that screwed all the people out of the free Run Flat replacements for the cupping problem by telling them it was alignment problems! This is my 4th BMW and I have never had an experience like this, I know all Stealerships are bad but this is really bad. I had better treatment at Honda and Dodge dealerships. BMW's are way to much money to get treated like this! BMW of Annapolis will lie to your face and they cause more damage to your car. The last time we took the car home from BMW our FTM went off about 2 mins into the drive. We called and they told us to bring it right back so we turned around and went back. When we took the car back we were told no one was there to look at it. xxx!? you told us to bring it back! I went to a service station where they pulled a drill bit out of the rear tire. The location of the bit showed the car must have been on a lift when it was inserted, I was told this was on purpose! DO your Home work and Google Tate BMW and read the first find, these are the same people with a different name. The good thing is they are a publicly traded company now so you can share your bad experiences with everyone. There are forums about how bad this Dealership is, biggest mistake of our lives purchasing from them. We were assured that they changed hands and the quality of service would be out standing, well no Sir still the same! I will make sure every one knows about this Dealership and from the looks of things a lot of other people will too. Update: Our car is in the shop again for the same problems that were supposedly fixed already, these problems happened the next day we got it. They promised the car was fixed! This time they say the cause of the problems have nothing to do with what they already fixed? WTH? So what did the they really fix before if it was the same symptoms? Gonna be 40 days or longer total now in shop time. This time they say there is more electrical problems and shafts in the Engine are bad, they are now replacing the shafts, lifters, valves, piston heads and rings. Our Car has been there 12 days and no real ETA on being finished! Several calls to the GM and no reply, imagine that! Do NOT be fooled by their new commercial that says they are all about you, LOL they could care less. Although they did give us a month payment for our trouble, Which they asked if I would take this review down (kind of like a pay off) but they had to not because they are nice! We have had to settle with dirty and wrecked loaners when we are paying for a 7 Series and they had it for 30 days not to mention we had to take off work every time losing a lot of pay! Our lemon has needed major Engine and electrical work and after 40 days in the shop it is still not fixed! Picked up the car after they rebuilt the engine and the next day the oil pump went up! Car is in the shop again and had been there 6 days! More

A close second is the exceptional customer service that I consistently receive when shopping for and or purchasing a car. With the latest purchase being my third I have had the opportunity to work with a number of Sales professionals and have consistently worked with the Finance Manager Dave Mier. Dave is the sole reason my family continues to purchase our BMW’s from this particular dealership. A car purchase is one of the larger purchases the average consumer makes and a lengthy obligation depending on finance terms. For that reason it is important for me as a consumer to feel that my needs are being fully met and that I understand the terms of the purchase and feel comfortable and confident in the person that is facilitating the transaction. Dave on numerous occasions has exceeded these expectations and consistently within reason does whatever he can to make the process smooth for me and my family. He is the consummate professional and “poster child” for what customer service truly entails. The list of examples of Dave’s willingness to go above and beyond goes on and may bore the reader but I would stand at the top of a mountain to inform any consumer considering a BMW purchase should talk to Dave and the Sales team at BMW of Annapolis before talking to any other dealer. I am confident the experience would at the very least mirror the experience I have had with BMW of Annapolis three times to date. More

He took time to explain the qualities of the auto I was interested in which was the 650I convertible. He introduced my husband and I to the General Sales Manager, Gary Goldstein. When we bgan to negotiate pricing both Art and Gary were very sensible,detailed and on point. My husband really appreciated this because he owns his business and absolutely despises the cajoling and game playing that goes on at other dealerships. The teamwork at Tate made our experience a very positive one and we will be back. Thanks to Art and Gary, they made it happen!!! More

I had my eye on the X6 and Seth Glicksman looked it up for me and there was the perfect car I was looking for the alpine white with black interior. Seth is an EXCELLENT sales man. He really cares about his customers and makes sure that they are satisfied, well more than satisfied. He even took the time to write an e-mail to see how I was doing with the new vehicle. No one takes their time to write an e-mail to a customer just because they bought the car. That shows that he really cares about the customer. I already recommanded Seth and the BMW of Annapolis to my cousin who is looking to purchase a BMW. Seth always greeted me with a smile. His customer service and personality was GREAT. This guy is the reason why I purchased my car at the annapolis BMW. But there is one other person that I really want to say something about the financial manager Dave. If it wasn't for his efforts on getting me that car I would not be driving it today. He did everything he could to get me that car. He spent half of the his day at the dealer trying to get me that car and in the end I GOT IT!!! He is a great person who does whatever it takes to help the customer out. This is the place to go.
