We've had our new BMW 535I for a couple weeks now, and we are very pleased with our purchase. Our client advisor, Dan Rykiel, was extremely easy to work with. His friendly, laid back sales approach put my wife and I at ease almost immediately. His product knowledge was incredible. Rich Allison was very accommodating during the negotiation process, and I believe, agreed to very fair prices not only for our trade-in, but our new BMW as well. Our end of the deal finance experience with Dave Mier was also enjoyable. There was no high presuure sales pitch for dealer options, just a fair discussion of what was available. He was extremely knowledgeable, and his great personality and sense of humor are clearly assets to the dealership. Finally, when it came time to pick up our new BMW, there were a couple of issues we found with the car during the pre-delivery inspection. Gary Goldstein was just outstanding. He not only arranged for an immediate appointment with the service department, but also a brand new loaner car for us to use while our car was being serviced. Needless to say, we highly recommend BMW of Annapolis! More
Every time I deal with BMW of Annapolis I am disappointed. When I bought the car, I had an "average" used car buying experience. Not that great, but some haggling is expected. I submitted BMW's own INTERNAL review via a phone call TO ME, I probably gave an average of 3/5. A couple of days later the salesman, named "John" (larger guy) literally called me at work to cuss me out. He went on and on about that's not how men treat men, etc. etc. I told him to calm down, and he (no kidding) said, "You're telling me to calm down, YOU CALM DOWN" and then he hung up on me. All over an internal BMW review. Wow. Then the dealership seemed to have changed hands, and I've taken the car in like 6 times for service (pitfall of BMW I guess). More
My sales consultant was Dan Rykiel. After one meeting I was convinced that he was the one I wanted to work with. He was thorough, professional, not at all pushy, available throughout the new buying experie was convinced that he was the one I wanted to work with. This is my first BMW and I have to say Dan made the experience very stress free and for me this is a huge plus. I have undergone numerous stereotypical new car buying hassles with the salesperson, sal experience very stress free and for me this is a huge plus. I have undergone numerous stereotypical new car buying hassles with the salesperson, sales manager and/or the business manager which often took away from that good feeling I expected and wanted when buying a new car. That was not the case with any of the folks I met at BMW of Annapolis. From the time I walked into the showroom until I drove off with my new 335d, I was treated with respect and made to feel the staff was there to help in any way they could. All questions were answered in a professional and understandable manner. Explanations of options were given in clear and unbiased manner; I did not feel I was being pushed or guided toward a particular choice. I wanted to pickup an item from the parts department and the clerk behind the counter immediately introduced himself, shook my hand and welcomed me to the BMW family. This was way above any previous experiences I have encountered with other dealerships. I am very pleased with Dan, Dave and Gary and would not hesitate to recommend BMW of Annapolis to anyone interested in friendly, easy car buying experience. PS: While pecking out this note, Dan called to ensure everything going okay and to remind me to call should I have any questions. More
I met Dylan by chance in the service lounge a few weeks ago, taking in a friends car for service. We just had a friendly chat about dogs, the weather, cars, random stuff. Saw a preowned light blue convertible, thought my friend would like it. Within a week it was gone. Of course, by that time, my friend was interested in trading in a 3 series for a hard top convertible. We went together to Tate after work on a Friday - - both of us ended up buying beautiful preowned BMWs. I surprised myself by trading in my Volvo C70 on a beautiful 530i sedan - - what a nice ride. Through the entire process, Dylan was wonderful - he is so nice and sincere, just a wonderful guy. The end of the deal experience with the finance guy - Dave was just as good. Dave was knowledgeable and personable as well. The dealership remained open late to finish up our deals. I would definitely recommend Dylan to friends and colleagues and when it's time to buy another car, I will return to Tate and hope to work with the same people. I'd also like to note that the sales manager and GM were both very friendly, although I had little direct contact with them from a business/deal aspect, with regard to personal interaction they were very affable individuals. His patience and willigness to go beyond the scope of his duties as a Client Advisor spoke volumes and will continue to as I enjoy my new BMW in the years to come. I'm very happy that I was referred to Mr. Bullock and look forward to doing business with him again when I'm in the market to purchase another BMW. Kudos to the entire staff of BMW of Annapolis!! Dan was not only a pleasure to work with, but was light hearted to make any customer feel at ease. My husband and I traveled from NJ on two occasions to discuss and finalize our deal - best trip to a dealership we ever made. They made us feel so welcomed, and we never felt the proverbial "what would it take to drive it home today" pressured sales pitch that we've experienced at other dealerships. I truly love my new car!
