After disastrous visit's to several dealerships (both online and in person) I eventually found myself at BMW of Annapolis. Until then I had no idea what the car buying experience is supposed to be like as every dealership I previously visited was mind numbing in the sense that they appeared to not really ever be listening and allow their own agendas to dictate your car buying experience. Upon arrival at BMW of Annapolis I was immediately helped by Dylan Rausch who was professional, courteous, and knew more about Bavarian Motor Works than anyone I've ever met. A true enthusiast, and in my opinion that is with whom you would want to put your trust into as Dylan was very patient and actually listened to what I was looking for in terms of a replacement vehicle. There was never once the uneasy feeling you get after dealing with or even talking to car dealers where they do not understand boundaries (they will blow your phone, email, text, etc. up tying to make a sale). I never felt that way at BMW of Annapolis thanks to Dylan Rausch. Within a week Dylan was able to locate my ideal BMW. Dylan went so far as to get down and dirty in his suit on the day I came in to sign paperwork by ensuring personally my car was spotless!!! That dedication and attention to detail sealed the deal for me, as satisfied client but more importantly one that plans to return when ready to upgrade or expand (with a growing family) in the future. I will be recommending Dylan to anyone that appreciates the very best in customer relations. He is truly old school in the sense that he puts the customer and brand above all. I couldn't be happier and in saying so apologize if this is long winded I don't do "reviews" so not too sure of the "standard". Bing listened to what we wanted, and not only made insightful recommendations, but also found the car we ultimately bought. Once we decided on our vehicle, Bing went above and beyond to make sure we understood all the options, walked us through numerous options, and offered us the chance to return to Annapolis BMW for additional technical training. He also followed up with us by phone to make sure we were happy with our new BMW (we love our new 428i!). We have purchased other luxury vehicles from other dealerships, and this, by far, was one of the best purchasing experiences we have ever encountered. Annapolis BMW Poor Follow Up In early October 2014, I received a BMW notification (recall) on the airbag for our 2005 BMW 325i. I called the Annapolis, MD BMW dealership, on Octo In early October 2014, I received a BMW notification (recall) on the airbag for our 2005 BMW 325i. I called the Annapolis, MD BMW dealership, on October 16, 2014 and inquired when I could bring the vehicle in for the recall installation. I was told, at that time, there was a shortage of replacement airbags and I would be put on a customer list and would be called when the parts were available. I had not heard back from BMW by January 5, 2015, a little over three months, so I called the Annapolis dealership and inquired....Antonette Frazier, who I talked to back on October 16, was not available, but the telephone representative told me Antonette was not longer handling this recall, but now Jenny was working the issue. The BMW representative said she would have Jenny call me the same day. No call back from Jenny the same day or into the following day, so I called the BMW dealership again. this time Jenny was available and when she checked their records.....shazam....there was only one other customer ahead of me....imagine that. When I asked Jenny why she had not called the previous day, she indicated she had no messages or their computer system might not be working properly. Jenny told me that if the parts were available, I should be called back for the installation sometime next week. I will follow up with more information after next week and provide feedback on my "experience" at the Annapolis BMW dealership. More
Purchased a new x1 I thought it was going to be a pleasurable experience after get my car serviced. I inquired about purchasing a new vehicle or even a used 335xi manual and was told they stopped making them and no longer had any used in inventory... however, I went against my better judgment and considered a crossover and felt pressure because the salesman stated my 330 xi needed a lot of maintenance and would probably lose even more value if I went home to think about it!!!!!...I was made a few promises regarding my new purchase and they never followed through with those promises !!!!! ...NO LONGER HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE !!!! Well call me determined ( and the fact I live within walking distance) I drove down to the dealership. I was met by a salesman that will remain unnamed. He was very helpful in answering questions. I told him I was interested in an x3 but I didn't care for the trouble I had getting someone on the phone. He apologized and said he didn't know what happened there but "here's my card" it has both my direct phone number and even my cell number on it. He said he would be happy with helping make a purchase. Well, within days I had another question and called the salesman. No answer. I left a msg. No response. Next day I called his cell phone. Guess what, no answer and no response from the message I left. I tell you it's been a month. He never did call me back. Lol. Now, I am the owner of a small business. These are tougher times. I only know to treat my customers like gold. There is other companies they can go to. So I take it personal when I receive such crusty service. I want to speak to managers or owners and let them know about the terrible service. I drove back to the dealer, ( hey, I said I was determined) and insisted on speaking to a manager. The manager was lovely and acted like he was as concerned as me about the whole phone thing. He hooked me up with a different salesman. Dan Rykiel. Dan gave me his card with direct number and cell phone also. Guess what? Dan actually answers his phones. Or the time or two I had to leave a message, he got back to me quick. I was satisfied enough, I purchased my 2015 X3 off Dan and enjoyed dealing with him. More
