I’ve only purchase one car from the dealership the service department sucks. You can never get anybody on the phone. I had an emergency today where my tire blew out right on route 50 near the dealership. I was calling to find out if I could have my car towed there and see if they would have my tire no one answered after calling numerous times I called the dealership and tried to get an operator. It only shifted me over to the service department who again did not answer. I finally got someone in sales who also tried to reach Service again no answer. On arrival with my car up on the tow truck, I’m going to the service department and no, no one asked to help me. No one looked up or even acknowledge my presence. I looked around and a couple of the people were sitting at desk. No one acknowledged my arrival there was one guy sitting at a desk to the left, and he said that he was not not service so I’m not quite sure why he had a desk there with his name and he didn’t identify who he was. Ffinally a young man name Donte Butler asked me to come over to his desk and he was amazing. He found out if they had my tire in stock and also made sure it was the correct tire for my vehicle. He was actually able to have me in and out of the service area within a two hour window. I’d like to commend him on his personal service and professional customer service. He was very attentive. Also I found out that the service people take an hour break for lunch and in that time they do not answer the phone or clearly wait on anybody that answers the service are for help. This is not acceptable for a BMW dealer. I usually go to Passport BMW to purchase my vehicles which I am on my fifth vehicle and I will continue to go to Passport. I will never use BMW Of Annapolis for anything. More
Service advisors recommended a $1400 service extension in mid 2023 for a 2020 BMW M340i, reasoning the cost by promising brakes would be included in the extension. Was informed in 2024 that the service exten mid 2023 for a 2020 BMW M340i, reasoning the cost by promising brakes would be included in the extension. Was informed in 2024 that the service extension would now only cover 2 oil changes (otherwise costing ~$300) and that I would need to pay an additional $1200 to further extend the contract to include brakes. Untrustworthy business practices and sells extensions under false pretenses, dealership essentially stole $1100. Recommend making the drive to Rockville. More
