They do not stand behind their used vehicles. The put the onus and responsibility on the customer and, with the very limited warranty they provide, little recourse when something goes wrong. One would think when you are buying a four year old car that goes through a 'rigorous' inspection, they'd catch all issues. But when I got in to test drive, the battery light was on. Between the Car Fax and inspecting the battery (they refused to give me the stamped date on the battery), there was no proof the battery had been replaced. I told them that after four years, the battery was probably failing. I am not buying a 25K car to get it home and have to hassle with a battery. Their response is unbelievable to myself, as well as others I have relayed the story. They said you can have the negotiated agreement *or* a new battery. I walked away and they did not try to make it right. My family had a similar story with them in the past, but I ignored it because I thought it was a one-off. Let's be clear - the battery light would indicate that either there is a charging issue with the car or the battery has an issue. The car had only been on the lot for three weeks or less. This was after some painful discussions on getting a negotiated deal. More
