They don't just start replacing parts at my expense until it gets fixed because they don't have a clue. I believe that the GM of this dealership is engaged and pushes for excellence. Could be wrong - only had one experience with them so far and it was top flight More
I would steer clear of this dealership if at all possible. We moved to DC and this seemed to be the closest dealership for service. My wife has a 2003 325xi and it seemed that the "washer fluid" light was always on- no big deal, but just annoying. We took the car in for its regularly scheduled service and alerted them to the problem. I got a call later in the day saying that the waher sensor was broken in the engine compartment and that it would need to be replaced to the tune of $80 dollars. When I picked up the car the next day the same light was still on- when I pointed this out to the service people they said it was the antifreeze light that was on not the washer fluid (I didn't know, It's my wife's car, I never drive it!) So the next obvious question is why did they replace and charge me for something that wasn't broken? The service guy quickly realized what was going on and took the charge from my bill and then personally filled up the antifreeze. Unbelievable! They guys are bunch of unethical cheats! Take your car anywhere but here! More
I'd recommend starting your relationship with the dealership through their website. I've talked to all Northern Virginia deals by initiating contact with the Internet Sales Manager. Every represent dealership through their website. I've talked to all Northern Virginia deals by initiating contact with the Internet Sales Manager. Every representative I've dealt with has been very patient and customer focused. I've been extremely particular in what I want, and these guys always email me back to answer my questions and are available via phone. I've had a really good experience at Arlington. I setup an appointment the same day I called, went in and test drove two 328i's. The interaction throughout has been very professional. I'm surprised by some of the comments here. I have another car that's been serviced here twice, which I'll write a review for... More
As great as my sales experience was at this dealership, my first service experience wasn't so great. The customer service person missed several details, we had to bring the car back for them to finish the my first service experience wasn't so great. The customer service person missed several details, we had to bring the car back for them to finish the work they promised to complete. So, I gave the customer service rep a not so great review when BMW called. The next time I brought the car in to be serviced, I got the same customer service rep (uh-oh). He remembered me this time, and he pulled a complete 180 on service levels. He was very detailed in his call on what was done to the car, when it would be ready, etc. Overall, the second time around it was a pleasant experience. All of this work was covered by my warranty, so I can't review prices. More
We went there to buy 328i 2008 model. He started the conversation by saying that he needs minimum 5 rating when BMW customer service calls for our feedback. We start negotiating the price without any te conversation by saying that he needs minimum 5 rating when BMW customer service calls for our feedback. We start negotiating the price without any test drive for that car. I asked for the test drive and he told me that i will do test drive when i buy it and take it home. I thought that was kind of rude. I gave my offer thinking that car has premium package. He took that offer and came back saying that it might be ok but i have to pay for floor mate. I then realized that the car had sports package . I told him that i need to lower my offer because my previous offer was for premium package. He did not like that . He just stood up and shook our hands and told us goodbye. It was very rude when he did that. He did not acted professionally. I then left BMW of Arlington and went to tisher BMW, Silver Spring and got premium package with good deal. More
Allison was great in terms of professionalism and efficiency. We called her about 10 minutes before our arrival at the dealership, and she had everything ready for my wife and myself. I have to e36's and never frequent the dealers for anything, except dealer specific parts. BMW of Arlington has been pleasant to work with; however their part prices are double yes two times more than anything, except dealer specific parts. BMW of Arlington has been pleasant to work with; however their part prices are double yes two times more than BMW's suggested list price. For small trim pieces, I use them. Anything else use Tischer BMW ( 20% off list). More
This dealership is a joke, and BMW needs to revoke their agreement to allow the AV group to sell their cars. This dealership clearly gives BMW an Awful name. From the Sales to the Service. I will NEVER buy agreement to allow the AV group to sell their cars. This dealership clearly gives BMW an Awful name. From the Sales to the Service. I will NEVER buy another car from them. The Management staff is as smart as my car tire. and to top that off they are full of empty promises. I thought giving them all 1's on my evaluation would make a difference, instead it got me a phone call asking why would I lie about my experience. It is worth the drive to go to VOB, or Passport. I found this to be one of the best service dealerships experiences I have encountered. The staff were extremely professional, helpful as well as understanding of the customer's needs. The mechanics work showed a high level of technical knowledge as well as actively looking out for the customer's satification. More
I went to this dealer to get more information about the new BMW 328 convertible, and to test drive the 328 coupe, as it is the same platform and the convertible is not out yet. I was ignored within the de new BMW 328 convertible, and to test drive the 328 coupe, as it is the same platform and the convertible is not out yet. I was ignored within the dealership for 30 minutes - I can only speculate that it was because I am a woman, and had my small daughter with me. When I went back to the front desk and requested to speak with someone again, Ms. Lee came in response. She as condescending, abrupt, and flat-out refused to let me test drive the vehicle. I will be writing to BMW headquarters about the experience. In comparison, I went up to Tischer BMW in Silver Spring, and had an EXCELLENT experience. I recommend them highly. Do NOT waste your time at the dirty, sullen BMW of Arlington dealership. They are thoroughly unhelpful. More
