I was impressed with Paul's attitude and sincerity when putting together the deal on a BMW convertible. I went into BMW of Alexandria curious to see what 2012 has in store for BMW's. I met Paul Blakeman who greeted me with a smile that never faded throughout the process. After he showed me the 2012 models, I fell in love with the new, 3 series - F30 model. My previous experiences owning a BMW made me yearn to own another. I went home and did extensive research on the new model and fell in love with it even more. Prior to my second visit, Paul spent time getting a feel for the perfect car for me. We scheduled an appointment and upon my arrival, Paul was prepared to show me the options for my next new car. I spent quite some time test-driving the car, discussing options, and making my final decision. After my decision was made, Paul arranged to get the exact car I wanted delivered to the dealership. At this point, I was thrown a curve ball. Up until this time, I prepared myself to settle for the 328i (which is still a fabulous car). I was then welcomely directed to check out the 335i absolutely loaded. I took it out and absolutely loved it. There was no way I could justify spending the additional money though. Once we arrived back to the dealership, it was time to sign some paperwork. Paul showed me the asking price for the 328i. I was pleasantly surprised and willing to accept it... until he showed me the asking price for the 335i. It was such a great deal that I couldn't pass it up. Thanks to BMW of Alexandria, I could drive away with my dream car and not have to worry about pinching pennies to do so. What a great overall experience from the initial sale to the final paperwork. My wife and I actually travelled to northern Virginia to look at pre-owned BMW's because it was her wish to drive a BMW. Walking into BMW of Alexandria, we were greeted by a rather nice person who immediately introduced us to a sales person. "Our Car Guy" was Paul Blakeman, a funny guy with an additional dynamic dimension! Paul was good for us. He's honest, personable, professional, energetic, articulate and exceptionally helpful. Working hard to secure a deal fair to all we actually drove off the lot at the end of the day with a brand new 3 Series BMW with all of the features necessary to keep me in good graces with the misses for a few years to come. I recently purchased a used BMW 328i from Paul Blakeman and had an outstanding experience. Despite my youth and lack of experience, Paul treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism from the moment I walked in the door. This immediately separated him from salespeople at other dealerships as I was often patronized and talked down to at other dealers I visited. Additionally, Paul understood that I had a firm budget and worked hard to give me the best car/warranty possible under those constraints. Like any good salesperson, it was clear that Paul was looking out for the best interest of the firm, but it was also apparent that he wanted to craft a deal that I was comfortable with as well. The high level of service did not stop after signing the paperwork, as Paul offered to drive me to a metro stop and spare me an uncomfortable trek on a 95 degree day.
