This Service department is big scam. All you BMW owners if you do take your care over there make sure the service is done. Because they tell you something else and works is done incomplete and they are wai if you do take your care over there make sure the service is done. Because they tell you something else and works is done incomplete and they are waiting for you car to break down so they can make money on it I guess. I rather take my car to Sterlng or Fairfax. More
This dealership understands the importance of great guest service. Before, during, and most importantly AFTER the sale. They are willing to help, knowledgeable, and are very helpful. I will definitely retur service. Before, during, and most importantly AFTER the sale. They are willing to help, knowledgeable, and are very helpful. I will definitely return here over and over! More
I found a Mercedes E320 there for a good price. But I was treated the worst I've ever been treated at a dealership. They have yet to fix the scratches on the bumper that they promised to fix when I purchased treated the worst I've ever been treated at a dealership. They have yet to fix the scratches on the bumper that they promised to fix when I purchased the car - (I have it in writing, I emailed them pictures of the screatches, and no response). I didn't get my license plates and registration until after the temporary tags were expired. They would not return my phone calls, so I had to drive 45 minutes each way in order just to speak with someone about the tags. Also I was told I would be reimbursed for the cost of my Maryland state inspection, and as you guessed it, that did not happen. I'm big on customer service, and its insulting when the manager, Mike Arata (who seems like a very nice guy) didn't even think I was worthy of a return phone call. Also, if you ever need a rental car for any service there, be prepared to wait for an hour. I really wanted my experience to be good here, but all I can say is, I'm embarrassed for the way I was treated there. I would have spent more at another dealer if I'd know the service I would get after the sale. More
The deal I got from them was so awesome. The purchase experience was so cool. The manager came to me and thanked me for purchasing the car there. Paul the sales person helped me so much for leaning every experience was so cool. The manager came to me and thanked me for purchasing the car there. Paul the sales person helped me so much for leaning every bottom of my new lovely X5. Even though the sales is finish, still whenever I call him, he answers me right away and asnwer every single question that I have. IF you want to get the best deal, go to him. More
I bought a used (2009 BMW328xi) car from Paul Blakeman at BMW of Alexandria and couldn't have had a better experience. The first time I went in, he asked if we could get a deal done that night and I told hi BMW of Alexandria and couldn't have had a better experience. The first time I went in, he asked if we could get a deal done that night and I told him if everything worked out perfect we could but that I doubted it. I was trying to trade in a used car and wanted to get the most I could for that. We ended up spending close to three hours and I left with a lot more knowledge but no car. I tried to sell my car on my own and couldn't get what I wanted. I went back to him and asked what he'd give me for my car. He gave me a number and I told him I needed more. He asked how much, I told him and he agreed. I went back in the next weekend and looked at pretty much every 2009 BMW 328i they had. I know he had to have been getting impatient as I just couldn't make up my mind. They had a lot of cars and I must have taken 6 - 8 of them out for test drives. I was there for about 5 hours. I finally settled on one, and we agreed on a price. We started the final paperwork and he told me it was certified pre-owned- after we'd agreed on a price! Now I know that's always a big selling point but it wasn't advertised as such because actually it had been certified about six months ago- so I got an extra two and a half years on the warranty- instead of running out in January, 2013 it runs through January 2015! Then, after he talked to the finance guy, he told me that in addition to it being certified, the car also has free maintenance for the life of the warranty, or through January 2015! I've been at other dealers where they would have tried to jack up the cost as a two year additional warranty would have cost over two grand and the free maintenance even more. Not Paul, though. There was one little hiccup which was as much my fault as his. He could easily have blown me off as the deal was already done and there really wasn't anything I could do about it. But instead he asked what he could do to make it right- as he wanted my experience at BMW of Alexandria to be a great one. He offered me some extras when he really didn't need to do that- just so he was sure I was 100 percent happy with my deal. Mark S. More
I knew what I want. I told Paul what I want. Paul was quick, efficient, pulled up the car I wanted, gave me a test drive, and then gave me the bottom-line price. The price he offered is the price I accep quick, efficient, pulled up the car I wanted, gave me a test drive, and then gave me the bottom-line price. The price he offered is the price I accepted. The folks at Alexandria were honest, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. I hope this will be the first of many cars I buy from them. More
The atmosphere and sales staff were very welcoming and helpful. Paul was willing to help me in every way he could to make the deal happen and make me comfortable with the decision. I purchased a car with a Manual transmission and Paul was nice enough to help me learn to drive it. He has gone above and beyond the typical sales associate. Great service! More
I met Paul through an Internet quote request for a new X3. I had been working with BMW of Sterling (who were very professional as well), and only came to see Paul when he offered to give me a very attract X3. I had been working with BMW of Sterling (who were very professional as well), and only came to see Paul when he offered to give me a very attractive price. Once in the dealership and after a bit of negotiation, Paul was able to work with his manager to get me the price I needed. The car was not on the lot yet, so they gave me a loaner, and Paul personally drove the car to my home when it arrived. Paul was friendly and professional throughout the entire experience, and I was very impressed that he took my 3 year old's questions very seriously when giving us a car tutorial. If I had to say anything negative, it was that all the BMW dealers I worked with (not just Paul) did not know many of the subtle details of the iPhone integration, Bluetooth audio vs USB audio, etc... Nor was there ever a clear guide from BMW to what features came with Nav vs without. For example, while I love my new X3, I was disappointed to find out that Bluetooth Audio streaming only comes with Nav. More
This dealership has an attitude problem. It is in a rich area so don't expect them to give you any attention if you just want to buy a 3 series. Too bad, I went and bought one from another dealer. area so don't expect them to give you any attention if you just want to buy a 3 series. Too bad, I went and bought one from another dealer. More
I was looking for a BMW last year (2011) and worked with Paul Blakeman but could not pull the trigger because of the inadequate cup holders. Well... 2012 came around and with the new improvements in the 201 Paul Blakeman but could not pull the trigger because of the inadequate cup holders. Well... 2012 came around and with the new improvements in the 2012 BMW I called Paul again. He stood out on our initial meeting as being extremely professional so I went back to him almost a year later and walked out with a new 2012 3 series. More
