I recently purchased a BMW diesel from BMW of Alexandria. My primary point of contact throughout the research and sales process was Paul Blakeman, aka "your car guy". The experience was extremely pleasant and I can highly recommend Paul and the dealership. I did some comparison-shopping and the prices offered by BMW Alexandria were very competitive. Paul's diligence, patience, and responsiveness (in person and via email) are exceptional. I test drove two cars two times each and took some time making up my mind without being rushed or pressured. Once I decided to go ahead with the purchase, Paul helped guide me through the process with patience and clearly a lot of experience. He provided regular updates as my ultimate driving machine was built in Germany and shipped across the Atlantic. Once it was delivered, he made sure I could pick it up and was properly introduced to its great number of features - he even did so after-hours when I got stuck in traffic on my way to the pick-up. Unlike other car dealerships in the DC area, I look forward to working with Paul and team in the future - although I hope for my car to spend most of the time on the road rather than in the shop.
