Extremely Disappointed with BMW Service I am writing to express my extreme displeasure with the service I received at the Alexandria’s BMW dealership on 5/20/24. My experience was far below the standard to express my extreme displeasure with the service I received at the Alexandria’s BMW dealership on 5/20/24. My experience was far below the standard I expect from a brand like BMW. I arrived ten minutes before the service center opened, hoping to get a quick oil change as I was short on time. I explicitly communicated my need for a swift service to the service advisor. Instead of understanding my situation, he mocked my decision to only request an oil change, which I found highly disrespectful and unprofessional. This behavior is unacceptable, especially from a representative of a luxury brand. Despite being assured that the service would take approximately an hour and fifteen minutes, I ended up waiting for over two hours. This significant delay caused me considerable inconvenience and disrupted my entire schedule for the day. The lack of transparency and disregard for my time was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the service advisor quoted me $1100 for a set of four tires. Given the terrible service I experienced, I would rather pay $1500 elsewhere than continue to deal with such disrespect and inefficiency. To add to my frustration, I inquired if an issue I currently have with my car was covered under my warranty. Instead of looking it up, the advisor automatically said it would cost $200 just to diagnose the issue. This lack of effort and customer care is deeply disappointing. Because the service took so long, they didn’t even run my car through the wash, which is a standard part of the service. Driving away in a dirty car after such a poor experience was embarrassing and further highlighted the lack of attention to detail. Overall, I am very disappointed with the level of service and the disrespectful attitude of the staff. I hope BMW takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an unpleasant experience in the future. More

I took it as a Divine intervention - Divine it was INDEED!!! Disappointed I reached out re: a vehicle and Ali Hussain replied saying that vehicle was sold but continued by asking if he could help me with anything else. I said, “Yes.l and the rest is history! Next thing I know, I was driving away with my X1 🥰. And may I add, Krishna Fahim the “BMW Genius” took great care and patience showing me the ins/outs of my new vehicle ☺️ Both Ali and Krishma went above and beyond making a very frustrating decision and purchase of my first BMW a phenomenal experience!!! Needless to say this relationship will be a match made in Heaven & they have created a BMW client FOREVER 🧡 Thank you to EVERYONE at BMW of Alexandria who made that purchase run so smoothly!!! More

Despite assurances of a 12-month warranty, when one of the wheels I purchased developed a fault, the service center conveniently ignored their commitment, citing obscure clauses. First they denied I purchased that wheel and then when I showed them the receipt, they cited technicalities that they can't replace it. This breach of trust reflects poorly on their integrity. Adding insult to injury, their billing practices are appalling. They charged me for their own incompetence during a follow-up visit, including an unexpected fee for a mechanic's test drive I never requested. The lack of transparency and accountability is concerning. Fellow BMW owners should be wary of the BMW Alexandria Service Center's deceptive practices and consider alternatives for their servicing needs. Because of breach of trust more than once, I have decided never to visit the Service Department of BMW Alexandria. More

I would never recommend this dealership. I had an appointment at 12pm to replace my windshield. He does not keep his word. Buying the car here was one of the worst decisions. Never buy their extended warranty or other services package product. Now after 4 months, we still have not received any refund for the cancelation of the extended warranty. Worse thing is that he is no longer nice to do if you ever decide to cancel the packages. More

I dropped my car off on Friday to be seen for an iDrive system malfunction which ended up drowning the battery. I was promised a loaner, then upon arrival was told the loaner wasn't available and they refused to drive me back to my home as it was an extra 2 miles outside the radius of their shuttle. Upon being firm, they provided me with an "older loaner." I left my vehicle and did not hear back until Tuesday, upon reminding them to get back to me, at which point I received a video from the technician and a repair estimate totaling over $5,500. In the video, the technician contradicted himself and said that the repairs were not guaranteed to fix the issues. It was obvious that the technician and service managers did not listen to my issues. Furthermore, I was told that my engine mounts were completely blown out and had to be replaced at a cost of $3,500. I picked my car up immediately, and took it to BMW of Silver Spring. There, the issue was diagnosed immediately and fully covered under warranty. The technician there double checked the engine mounts and found them to be completely fine, as they only go out at around 100,000 miles (my car is at 55,000). I ended up only needing to replace my battery, as everything else was covered under my warranty, which BMW of Alexandria wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for. Their service department blatantly tried to rip me off for thousands of dollars, which is immoral and possibly illegal. This is not what should be expected from a BMW dealership and I recommend to avoid this place at all cost. More
