Writing this I don't know where to start. I went to this dealership for an M4 Heritage from the moment i stepped in the door it was a nightmare. First off the Sales Manager (Bulent Inal) told me he didn't w dealership for an M4 Heritage from the moment i stepped in the door it was a nightmare. First off the Sales Manager (Bulent Inal) told me he didn't want to sell me the car at the correct money factor even with me having years of history with BMW FS loans perfectly paid. After a long while of him speaking down to me he agreed to sell the car with the correct Tier 1+ Super Elite MF at the time being .00082 as long as I left a deposit. After running my credit and getting the approval, he told me that my taxes are higher than the original calculations. He then attempted to up-sell me on taxes, when I wasn't willing to take the price bump he yelled at me saying he's canceling the deal. After stressing to him that he already added an inquiry on my credit he agreed to move forward on the deal. When I arrived at the dealership and looked over the contracts at signing I noticed the selling price was sold over $1000 higher. Before leaving I looked over my new car and noticed there was black paint splatter on my Brand New Imola Red M4 Heritage. One of the service workers told me they "Had to repaint the rear bumper from a small hit while moving the cars, while it was in repair black paint splatter must've gotten on it." At the time this dealership had 6 in stock with the same options/color and MSRP. After hearing about the repair I asked Sales Manager (Bulent Inal) to reprint my contracts with a different cars vin number. He told me that "it was too much work" then telling me to "leave with the car and go." Never in my years of owning/buying BMW's have I ever been treated like this. It has given me a terrible taste when shopping for BMW's. I hope no one ever has to go through what I did with this dealership. STAY AWAY! More
I would like to start off by saying that this was the most unpleasant experience that I have ever had with a dealership. This entire experience felt nothing less than rude and discriminatory. This is my most unpleasant experience that I have ever had with a dealership. This entire experience felt nothing less than rude and discriminatory. This is my first BMW and first BMW service experience and it has put a damper on my view of the BMW brand as a whole. To begin, I called into the dealership and spoke to a service advisor named Karina and explained to her that I wanted to come in for a service since my vehicle has an active service contract. I asked her to verify that my information showed up in the system before coming in since bmw USA has updated it. She then verified and set my appointment for 10:30am. Upon arriving, she lied to my face stating that my car cannot be serviced on the basis of it not being transferable from the original purchaser which was misinformation. At this point, I explained to her that she is may have the wrong information because the particular service contract on my vehicle is not attached to an owner but is attached to the vehicle. I also explained to her that BMW USA said that the dealer should call them if they have any questions. Instead of calling, she spoke to the service manager explaining that she felt the contract wasn’t valid versus actually doing some research into the matter. She then took me to the finance manager (who I was told name is Chris) to try and sell me a “refresh” aka “extended maintenance plan”. Upon arriving to the finance mangers office, she went into the office and left me outside of the office with the door closed to adamantly prove, in my opinion, why she was right about service transferability. I had to ask to come into the office to be a part of the conversation which seemed very unprofessional. When I was finally offered to come inside after asking I spoke to the finance manager, he stated that there is nothing that he can do on his end. I reexplained the details and told him that BMW USA asked the dealer to call if there were any issues or concerns. The finance managers response to me was “I can call in an hour and a half because I have to help someone who is actually buying a car because that’s what I do”. At this point I’m wondering that if the fiancé manager wasn’t able to help with this issue, why was I brought to you? To be reminded that I purchased a used car and that you sell new cars as if my concerns aren’t as important? After this awful experience, I ended up reaching out to BMW again and got the same service done under my service contract by another Certified BMW dealership who verified that BMW of Alexandria was misinformed. I want to end this review by saying, BMW of Alexandria has lost a future customer and I will make sure to let others know that they should not take their money to this dealership because they are rude, uniformed, and lack customer relation skills. I’m great full for having a salesman like Paul Blakeman. He was knowledgeable, well experienced and courteous. I’m glad to have purchased a vehicle of that type of performance. I’ve owned American cars, whi He was knowledgeable, well experienced and courteous. I’m glad to have purchased a vehicle of that type of performance. I’ve owned American cars, which I loved (96 Ss impala, 2007 charger srt8, 2010 camaro ss) and now this high engineered m4. Nothing I’m my eyes, handles and hugs the road on a turn like an this m4. If I’m not mistaking you can look at the reviews, it’s because the front to back weight ratio is equally balanced therefor distributing the weight of the car evenly, if that makes sense. As far as the finance department I say stay away from them and a gentleman by the name of Anu who I felt as though might have hustled me a bit, that’s my opinion. I never understood how I had an interest rate of a little over 3% when I was leasing but some how after I went to purchase the vehicle it jumped and doubled to over 6% and I never was late on payment for 3 years. I don’t not recommend their finance department. More
I recently purchased a car that I leased in 2017 from Paul Blakeman. He remembered me from 2017. He was very helpful in processing the purchase of the lease without having to do it through the DMV. The service department lied to our faces after making us wait more than 24 hours for an OIL CHANGE. Jeff Fritz told us that although we made an appointment for an oil change, that the appointment was to sp wait more than 24 hours for an OIL CHANGE. Jeff Fritz told us that although we made an appointment for an oil change, that the appointment was to speak with a service representative—not for an oil change? Even though the website clearly states the appointments are for next day service. To get our car back we had to physically go into the service department and demand they actually do the work. Unbelievable. We still do not have our car back. Do not go to this dealership for service! More
I brought my 2 month old 2020 M4 to the dealership to have the two right wheels replaced and alignment done. I wasnt going to file a claim at first with my insurance because I had the warranty on the whe have the two right wheels replaced and alignment done. I wasnt going to file a claim at first with my insurance because I had the warranty on the wheels and tires and the service department made a quote for me for about $2100 to replace two control arms. At this point I called my insurance company and they came in and audited their assesment of work and the service department overcharged me by about $800. After that they then charge me for 2 alignments on the car which were 350 a piece and then when I got my car back they didnt even vacuum or clean the car and also didnt have the plastic covers on the seat or the floor. On top of that, they forgot to put my hubcap back on one of the wheels that wasnt even replaced. I asked my rep if he would do the 2nd alignment for free since I just spent almost $90k on a car and they overcharge me for the service ansd they would not do anything for free. AWFUL SERVICE AND WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!!! More
