After making sure the car I seen online was still available I drove out to Seattle to check it out in person. The outside was filthy, there was candy wrappers on the center console, garbage bag and pens in the trunk. No big deal, I still loved the car. While trying to figure out the final price we just couldn’t quite meet where I was comfortable. The next day while driving to a few other dealers to check out the same model I decided I wanted the one in Seattle and started running numbers in my head to make it work. I texted them the next day in hopes of scheduling a time to go in and buy it but they offered me a number much higher than any price we discussed in person. That’s a joke right? I stated that I felt they were playing games and didn’t care at this point because I came back trying harder to work with them and not only did they raise the price but they didn’t care about the quote I got 3 days prior and were unwilling to come down, it also took 5 HOURS to work on the price and get back to me (Since when does it take 5 hours to run numbers? I’d have been pissed if I was in the dealership). They than asked who I worked with and proceeded to stop contact after I said he didn’t give me a business card so I wasn’t sure the name. This was that absolute most ridiculous car buying experience I’ve ever had, otherwise I would’ve bought a car. More
Out of state buyer - had a fantastic experience back in 2020 and again back in June. Both people on the sales team Joy and Ian were great to work with and helped me get into my dream car. I recently purchased a 2022 BMW I4 from BMW Seattle with Joy Laydbak as my salesperson. Words can’t describe the arrogance and rudeness of the hired helper, Mike.. BMW lost a $90k sale, but more importantly they lost my business forever. Mercedes has a better vehicle for less, but I’ll have hired helper, Mike.. BMW lost a $90k sale, but more importantly they lost my business forever.
