Very bad experience. I had a very bad experience with the quality of my last service provided. My car had a oil leak and the diagnose was that the vacuum pump is leaking a I had a very bad experience with the quality of my last service provided. My car had a oil leak and the diagnose was that the vacuum pump is leaking and needs to be replaced. I agreed with the cost of replacement but the oil leak is still present after replacing the part. They returned my car with the leak not resolved but I still had to pay for the service. In top of that they made a mess under drivers seat - never had such a bad experience with any car service I worked with. Very bad experience. I plan to send a complain to BMW US directly as well. More
Another Flawless Leasing Experience - #4 My husband and I just leased our fourth BMW from Rick Arendt and Mark Harrington last weekend and couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism, My husband and I just leased our fourth BMW from Rick Arendt and Mark Harrington last weekend and couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism, taking the time to listen to what we wanted in terms of model,and features and the price range that we were hoping to stay within. We didn't need to,wait long before they had a few 2017 X3 models that met our criteria and we immediately fell in love with the vehicle that we left the dealership with that day. In all of the years that we've been working with Rick and Mark, they have never once made us feel rushed, pressured and gave us the attention that we needed in order to make our ultimate decision. Many dealerships consider the deal to be done once you drive off of the lot but not when you are dealing with BMW of Seattle and Rick and Mark. Rick,has checked in with me a few times to see how the vehicle was working out and if there was anything we needed. Thanks to the unparalleled service provided by Rick and Mark, they will always have our business. Further, everyone that we have ever encountered at BMW of Seattle has been extremely pleasant and professional. The dealership,is a well-oiled machine so you will not spend more than a few hours closing the deal. I'd also like to add a side story about Rick and Karen who coordinates the Service Department. Earlier during the week that I ended up,trading in my 428ix, I blew out the sidewall of my tire when I hit a curb to avoid hitting a squirrel. My first instinct was to reach out to Rick after speaking with BMW Assist since it was getting late and I wasn't sure if the Service Department was open. Rick told me to have the vehicle towed to the dealership and we would figure out the logistics of working it into the schedule. I followed up,with BMW Assist and arranged for them to pick up my car the early the next morning. I followed up with a call to the Service Department when they opened at 7:00 am and Karen answered the phone. I filled her in on my plight and she also,told me to go ahead and have the car towed in. I asked Karen if it was possible for me to get a loaner car, despite this not being a warranty issue, and she said that they didn't have enough loaner cars for the scheduled appointments that morning. She called me back later that morning to advise me that there was a service cancellation and that she could put me into a rental car! I could probably write a mini-novel about how Karen and Rick went above the call of duty but I'll close with this: BMW of Seattle is the epitome of professionalism, excellent customer service and vehicle service. As his name suggested, Super Nice Guy Stanley is very helpful and patient. I came multiple times to look for my new BMW. He took me around and showed me many cars in storage and in system. Stanley is very helpful and patient. I came multiple times to look for my new BMW. He took me around and showed me many cars in storage and in system. Plus scheduling test drive, a fairly long one, which helped me secure my car a lot. All in all, Stanley made my BMW experience positive and helped me get my new car! More

Throughout the experience I can say that most car sales people don't really know their product well and rely on sales techniques to get them through the experience. Avid researchers and car guys, my son and I often felt that we knew more than the guy selling the car. That was true untill we walked into Seattle BMW. By way of explanation there was another BMW dealership in the region who basically ignored us on two seperate occasions as we walked around the lot. However, Charles greeted us with open questions and was really interested in understanding what we were looking for. He quickly got us pointed in the right direction and answered every question we had. He had a deep knowledge of the product and was attentive to both myself and my oldest son who was with me. The latter detail I really appreciated as most dealerships spent all their focus on me despite my son's interest in cars. When it came time to leave he didn't pressure us or resort to sales gimmicks to try and close the sale(e.g. "What can we do to get you into this car today") and he didn't pressure me after. I really appreciated that he was extremely responsive to my questions over time without pushing me to make a decision. When it came time to buy the car he was very patient as my wife and younger son examined the car relating features of the car and sharing stories of his first car. Overall it was a fantastic experience that I would gladly do again and have recommended him to my close friends. More

During our first meeting I felt like he was interested in helping me find the right car, rather than just what was available. During that first meeting we put a deposit down on an M2, and even though the wait list was nearly 12 months at that time, Charles helped us make sure that was the right vehicle. Throughout the wait time, Charles regularly kept us appraised of where we were in the line, and our approximated wait time before our order would be placed. His regular updates were much appreciated so that we didn't feel lost and forgotten in the process. Once our order was placed, Charles updated us more frequently to let us know the status of the build, and the ship that our car was coming across the Atlantic on. This was a fantastic car buying experience, and I would recommend Charles, and already have, to all of our family and friends. More
