Customer service ? Took our 650 in for service - they damaged vehicle while it was in the shop. Said they'd take care of it. Then they dropped us. I have contacted everyone from the owner of the company on down to the managers at the dealer. 100% unresponsive. Coast BMW will happily take your money but if you have a problem after the sale - they will ignore you until you go away - Starts at the top and rolls downhill from there. No one cares and they dont care that they dont care. More
Not the most friendly BMW Dealership! Never have we experienced such unfriendly service as Coast BMW. I’ve tried calling the Manager and never received the courtesy of a response. Very disappointed. More
Best of the Best We bought our 2008 535i series BMW in November of 2007. Needless to say, I was in experiencing a really dark period in my life and was not interested We bought our 2008 535i series BMW in November of 2007. Needless to say, I was in experiencing a really dark period in my life and was not interested in buying a new car. But we needed one so I went along. Well, Scott picked up on what I was going through and basically took me by the hand and gently lead us through the process. Scott gave us a great deal and we have been friends that talk maybe once a year or less but he always remembers me and that dark day that should have been a wonderful day of not only buying a new car but buying my first BMW. Scott is always sweet and helpful whenever I just need a dumb question answered and ALWAYS returns my calls. My daughter and son-in-law needed a car and I sent them to Scott and he treated them the same as he did me. Now it is 2018 and I still talk with Scott whenever and he is always happy to talk and catch up. Thank you Scott when I needed a friend in a dark time in my life!!! Love my car!!!! More

Treated like trash after signing the dotted line. Cliff notes version: I came to this dealer for an amazing deal on a brand new 2017 model 5 series that was advertised on their website. My experience Cliff notes version: I came to this dealer for an amazing deal on a brand new 2017 model 5 series that was advertised on their website. My experience at this dealership, and especially with the management staff (sales management) was exceedingly poor. The residual value was marked down, management staff tried as hard as they could to withhold bmw financial incentives, and management staff compromised professionalism and customer service in this instance of a vehicle lease. Be warned, if you get a great deal on a BMW at this dealership, expect to be treated like trash. I drove all the way from Los Angeles to get in on this dealer special. The week prior to the sale, I contacted the dealer and worked with salesman Jose who verified over the phone that I would be able to apply for the college grad rebate. I confirmed with Scott, the sales manager the lease terms including residual value and financing rate. I was offered a nice coffee drink from Starbucks.. a nice respite from the 3.5 hour journey to San Louis Obispo from Los Angeles. The sales manager was truely unprofessional and incompetent in negotiating a price for this car. He told me the college grad incentive did not qualify for 2017 models, when in fact the fine print available on BMW USA states otherwise. They tried adding a "protection package" to the deal, and did not remove it despite telling sales to remove it from the invoice at lease three times and manually crossing the line out with a pen. More egregiously, the residual value was dishonestly marked down resulting in a higher monthly payment . If you shop at this dealer, you need to be your own buyers advocate. Seriously. I received a pair of keys chained to each other at the end of this exhausting ordeal, and asked if I could have a (bmw) keychain. After asking a second time, a sales manager rummaged through a few desks and gave me a "Coast Nissan" keychain. I have never felt more disrespected by sales staff in my life... and this is coming from someone who has purchased BMWs at several dealerships in the past. I gave back the keychain, letting them know how disappointed I was with management, only to get a dealer branded bmw keychain and NO apology from the responsible management staff. Phone calls made the next day was met with deaf ears and no further resolution was made. The sales manager Taylor told me I got a "great deal" and "keychains cost money too". This shows to what great lengths the management of this dealership will take to save 50 cents to a dollar that it costs to order these keychains, at the expense of customer service. What troubles me isn't the cost of a keychain, but the integrity of management staff is compromised when they dare offer a "Nissan" keychain to a customer who just signed a contract for a 53k BMW. More
Scott Boulanger, the pre-owned manager, very rude I'm from out of state and when I came across a vehicle that I was interested in, I emailed this dealership and right away, it was like a circus. I was contacted by 2 different people at 2 different times, their names are Tyler Dawson and Peter. Their stories were inconsistent with each other about condition of this pre-owned vehicle and their follow through was even worse. After that, I decided to call the dealership and try to speak with someone else and at that point, I spoke w/ a Mike, then a Scott Boulanger, the pre-owned manager and the level of service didn't improve much. After talking for a while and when we finally were discussing the price and how to get this vehicle to New York, Scott offered me $625 split transporting this car and changed his mind or should I say he denied offering that to me to begin with. It's amazing in a very short time, how bad this was and could not have been worse. Then he advises me that the car was sold and calls me shortly after and when I was still discussing my experience to him about Tyler and Peter's stories being inconsistent and not returning my calls, he proceeded to defend them and hung up on me. O, before he hung up on he, he proceeded to tell me how great he is... I told him that I didn't think so at all, at least with regards to my experience. TERRIBLE JOB SCOT, PETER, TYLER. More
Daniel was very helpful! I could not find the BMW of my dreams locally, but I found it on line at Coast BMW. I was hesitant to purchase a car unseen and undriven (by me), but I could not find the BMW of my dreams locally, but I found it on line at Coast BMW. I was hesitant to purchase a car unseen and undriven (by me), but Daniel was very transparent and helpful and ameliorated my concerns about buying a car from a dealership so far away and having it sent to me. Daniel was always quick to respond to my emails and texts when I had questions. He sent me all the photos I needed so that I felt good about the purchase. The price was very competitive and I impossible for me to say no to this amazing car (X6)! We finalized the paperwork on Sunday and the car was in my driveway (680 miles away) Monday afternoon when I got home from work! Talk about exceeding expectations! The car arrived as advertised much to my relief. The car is in great shape and a joy to drive. I feel like I made a good decision working with Coast BMW and Daniel Zambrano. They were honest and upfront and totally transparent. I highly recommend this dealership and Daniel Zambrano! RH More
