Everyone who reads this review should simply ascertain the following: As the BMW Dealer of the Year for 2012 based on the overwhleming raving reviews you can quickly dismiss this one reviewer and their obvious poor attempts to bully a dealership into getting something for free. This customer chose to purchase a sub standard BMW from an out of state dealer and when that dealer refused to repair any of the concerns he attempted to forcefully and through intentional black mail force our employees to committ warranty fraud. He was rude, unprofessional, and has an obvious chip on his shoulder and yes we asked him to leave and chose as a good business decision to not service his car regardless of his threats to "Start a smear campaign on every website he can find" One thing he exceeded in doing was alienating a few people who no loner do business with the local bank he works for. Let the record reflect by the ratings and over 170 other reveiwers that this is simply a case of you can't please all the people all the time.

Posting honest reviews on websites whose sole purpose is to gather information on customer experience can hardly be called a smear campaign. BMW of Columbia is so busy trying deflect responsibility that they got a few facts wrong. Hendrick BMW of Charlotte is the dealership where the car was purchased and where the car was fixed without argument. The Hendrick family of dealerships are held in high regard as a group of professionals who treat their customers with courtesy and respect. It is BMW of Columbia who refused. I suspect the Hendrick folks might take issue with being accused of selling a substandard car. Moreover, BMW of North America may disagree with the assertion that their Pre-owned Certification Program would turn out a substandard product. I believe the readers of Dealer Rater are intelligent enough to notice that the reviews praising BMW of Columbia are from individuals who have recently purchased new cars. They are understandably excited about the new BMW in their garage or driveway and undoubtedly had a positive sales experience. The sale, as everyone knows, is only half the story. The dealership's rebuttal, fraught with misspellings and grammatical errors, and even a dig at the reviewer's employer, displays careless and immaturity not needed in the course of a professional transaction.

I encourage everyone to look at the most recent review of service, then consider the source of this person's outright fabrications. We are glad that the dealer whom he purchased his car from completed all the repairs he requested. One has to wonder why then did this customer not have his car repaired at his purchasing dealer the first time?
