Got home, realized it's missing a particular features that are very important to us. Told Joe next day that we're not happy with the car. He asked for us to come by and showed several other options. Basically a lot of back and forth before we finally got to the one we love (with the right price). Never once we felt intimidated/trapped/forced to buy anything. Excellent Purchase Event I am a previous customer of BMW of Columbia. When I decided to get a new sedan I went back to this dealership. New site off of I-77 near Columbia, bea I am a previous customer of BMW of Columbia. When I decided to get a new sedan I went back to this dealership. New site off of I-77 near Columbia, beautiful location and dealership. Joe was my new contact and we crafted a "special" M-Series for my needs. They assisted me since the car was a special build, and arranged all of the details. Last Friday I got my car! Very pleased...very professional for the dealership and staff. A dealer you can trust Hands down the best experience I have ever had NOT JUST within BMW, but any business. First and foremost I would like to make this point because I Hands down the best experience I have ever had NOT JUST within BMW, but any business. First and foremost I would like to make this point because I find it to be the best part about the entire atmosphere within this amazing dealership. Visiting the Columbia SC BMW was a direct result of me having terrible interactions with my local Myrtle Beach BMW where I live. From the moment you interact with the first employee at Columbia BMW an obvious level of passion is shared and love for their brand. Throughout every single department that I interacted with during my visit, it showed an obvious love for their company, coworkers and the products that they provided for their customers. The parts department, who from the first phone call took the initiative to ascertain the parts necessary for my repair. Conveyed a level of concern that made me as a customer feel as if I was a priority. Many times it is extremely busy in these departments and unfortunately it shows in other dealerships customer service. I have had this terrible experience in other dealerships but this was never the case with them. They never rushed me off the phone, even with my situation requiring a lengthy time consuming explanation. They were not only extremely knowledgeable of BMW, they created an immediate trust that I could count on them and trust their word. Tom was the Lead in the shop at Columbia BMW and showed every quality necessary to make me feel comfortable about my vehicle being in the right hands. He was upfront and honest and didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but what the truth was no matter what. He was well informed and knew of the TSB that pertained to my vehicle and was also knowledgeable of what my Warranty covered. His willingness to scan my cars diagnostic obd2 port at no cost to me, showed his eagerness to correct the disappointing experience I had locally and get me on the path to my vehicle being fixed properly. During my vehicles time in the shop being diagnosed and scanned, I got the pleasure of interacting with even more of these amazing employees. A female employee in the parts/service department (I apologize I don't know her name)made the time fly by sharing some of her fun experiences within BMW and particular the I8. I have love for these vehicles and any time I can learn more is nothing short of amazing to me. Between her and the other gentleman in the parts department, they never once made me feel as if I was a pain, or causing them to be distracted. They shared the love for BMW and made me feel like I was with family!! Walking the lot showing some of my favorite vehicles to my spouse we spoke to a gentleman by the name of Bob in sales, and also another salesman inside the showroom. Bob was excited about his job at BMW and was able to inform me of his experiences with availability and different options available to most dealerships fluidly and confidently . When we went in the showroom we had the amazing pleasure of getting to visit the new M4. Not just amazed by the vehicles beauty and features but again the amazing customer service and love for BMW. We stood around the vehicles discussing and debating new options and features available even in aftermarkets as well. This atmosphere wasn't pushy to sell, or annoyed to teach, or a sense of being bored by the daily routine and my excitement. It was throughout the entire experience and every employee and department, matched with a smile, a love for BMW, and the desire to help their customer. I truly genuinely can't thank BMW of Columbia enough for the way they opened their "home" to me and my family and made us feel comfortable and appreciated. I would even like to thank Bill the tech who diagnosed my vehicle. Who put up with my eagerness to learn and very little comparible competentency of BMW service and repair, and showed me where the part was with issue. He Explained how exactly he would go about fixing it and the process that he would go through to guarantee a finsihed car, that was reliable and running well again. Thank you to the gentleman who set up my service and set up my enterprise car. To the employees at BMW , don't ever change! I know when our family needs a new car, exactly where we're going!
