I apologize for the issues you have encountered with your vehicle and this is not a usual occurrence as you can see with the majority of very satisfied customers that have purchased from BMW Northwest for years. I spoke with this customer on many occasions and offered to verify his concerns but he decided to take it to a BMW center that was closer to his residence. They reported to the customer what was wrong as they should have, but as I explained to our customer we have no control over damage that occurs after you purchase your vehicle. We went through this vehicle thoroughly as we do with all CPO vehicles and installed new OEM tires and inspected the rims for damage with paperwork to verify work preformed. The customer drove almost 2000 miles and when checked found 3 bent rims and broken cords on his tires and the reason why he felt the front end out of alignment. As I explained to the customer that we cant be held responsible for hitting potholes and/or curbs that would cause this issue. I understand his frustration and offered him to bring in his vehicle so we can verify the issues but reminded him that we couldn't be held responsible for damage occurred while driving, let alone driving it for almost 2000 miles. I assured customer that if there were any issues with the tires they would be covered under warranty as they were new when he took delivery, but of course the only way to have "broken cords" in your tires would be caused by a hard impact which would not be covered. If the rims and tires cords were broken you would have noticed immediately on driving and not 3 months and 2000 miles later. Unfortunately I couldn't satisfy this customer as is my goal with all of our clients. well we have tried numerous times to respond to this customer with no reply. We have run her name through our system in service and in sales to no avail, this customer has never been in our store. I have run across this before as there is another dealer in Maryland with the name Northwest BMW that people confuse with us regularly. I would like to respond or at the minimum find out what the story is but this customer must have confused us with the other store, and have the personnel confused as we have no Gary ever working in service.
