Great Sales Experience, But Beware Undisclosed Add-On in Finance. I bought a new 330 from BMW Coconut Creek recently. The sales rep, JC Otero was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, no pressure, and mad Finance. I bought a new 330 from BMW Coconut Creek recently. The sales rep, JC Otero was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, no pressure, and made the process enjoyable from test drive to negotiation. However, the finance office was a completely different story. The finance rep, Rodney went through the paperwork quickly as we denied all additional warranties and service options. without discussing or pointing out any add-ons. A few days later, reviewing the contract at home, I spotted a $351 charge for a windshield warranty that was buried in the closing fees with no verbal mention and no opportunity to decline it during signing. It was completely undisclosed and hidden amongst all of the many forms that one needs to sign. When I contacted the dealership, they promptly issued a full reimbursement check, which I appreciate as they knew I would never have agreed to that. That said, this undisclosed charge felt like an attempt to slip in an unwanted add-on without consent, hoping it wouldn’t be noticed. By the way, there was $450 placeholder for registration and title that turned out to be I believe $92. So the $351 warranty was not noticed by me at that time. Future buyers: Be extremely vigilant in the finance office—demand a full, line-by-line breakdown of every fee and add-on before signing, and confirm nothing is added without your explicit agreement. Ask directly about any warranties or protections and make sure they’re not included unless you want them. Overall mixed experience—the sales team deserves praise, and the resolution was handled well, but the finance tactic was extremely disappointing and still bothers me today even after receiving full reimbursement - this could easily catch others off guard - so buyers beware. What really bothers me is the day after buying the car, I gave the finance person a glowing review on customer feedback. It wasn't until a few days later I realized what had taken place. So sad to think that after all of the negotiating and the feeling afterwards that perhaps you could have received a better deal - that this unfortunate situation occurred - not what one ( or at least I) would expect from BMW More
