First -- the good -- Amir the sales person . . Very pleasant , easy to work. Not sure why he is working with this group . Here are the details of my one and only experience at this business. I . Very pleasant , easy to work. Not sure why he is working with this group . Here are the details of my one and only experience at this business. I called them because I was interested in a 2019 Nissan Altima . Priced at $20,000 . I called and spoke to a lady there and specifically asked what the fees are if I chose to buy this car. She explained that I would pay the $20,000 plus a $689 fee , plus the registration , taxes. I decided to make the drive down there to buy this car . When I arrived , we spoke to Amir, who brought the car to the front so we could view it . First - the car was in decent shape, not as clean as the online pics, had a few scuffs, but there were rad flags . This car had only 17,000 miles, was a lease , yet had 3 different brands of tires. Seems like Axis may have swapped out the original tires ?? Who knows, but definitely a red flag. I went into the office and spoke more with Amir and talked about trading in my car .. Axis lowballed me , which is fine , until I showed them the offer from Carmax that expires on July 2 . They agreed to match Carmax . Now Amir goes and gets the dishonest Finance guy , and I'm not sure what his name is . The dishonest finance guy starts by telling me " Well -- there are other fees " SO here we go , here comes the bullsh**. He starts by telling there is a $1,995 " dealer fee" , so now this car is about $22,000 . All while not really telling me exactly what this " dealer fee " is for ???? I ask him why this wasn't explained to me when I specifically called to ask what the fees are . He tried to tell me that the lady was an answering service, which is a lie. I called during business hours and the lady was in the actual office . So I basically drove all the way there to find out there is this mystery " dealer fee " . But wait - it actually gets better . Now -- on top of this new "dealer fee", there is also a $3995 fee for a service called SHIELD . So now this car is not even $22,000 , its all the way up to $26,000 . I laughed at the dishonest finance guy and told him emphatically - NO , I don't need this stupid service. He lied again and said " It already comes with the car " .Its a GPS tracker that finds your car if it is stolen. Not sure how many people actually fall for this crap , but if you think about it and actually do the math -- its a 3 year lease that was turned in , but the original leasee decided to buy a 5 year GPS tracking system ??? The dealership that did actually lease that car and talked the buyer into purchasing a 5 year GPS tracker on a 3 year lease puts this greasy finance guy to shame . Job well done !!!! So getting back to the dishonest finance guy trying to tell me that this car already came with this service - I explained again that this ALSO wasn't disclosed anywhere , to which he started asking me who my favorite baseball team is . I can only assume that my many facial expressions suggested to him that I was not buying his story . I did actually answer the question, because I am a friendly guy -- then explained that I was there to get a fair deal and told him what I was looking for , which was to pay the price that was actually online on his website. Crazy isn't it ??? to actually pay the advertised price ?? Doesn't sound possible , but I actually asked to pay THAT price . Not sure why I would expect that , but I went for it ....He went back to his little two way mirrored cubicle and came back a few minutes later . We chatted with Amir for a little bit , again - very pleasant guy , smiles alot , very good sales person- too bad he works for these scumba**. So the dishonest finance guy comes back , and basically just says we can't get a deal done . He had pretty much given up and thrown in the towel . Maybe I am not the typical customer for this dealership ? I actually expect to pay the advertised price and not to be lied to multiple times. Again - not sure how many people actually fall for these " additional fees" , but I wanted to share my experience . When I tell you to run as fast and far as you can from these , I am telling you from experience . OR _- you can add about $6000-$7000 to the price that is listed on their website and THAT will be the actual price . These guys are nothing but "SNAKE OIL SALESMEN " More
I came in around 6pm on a random day after work. Amir was very patient with what I needed to work with. Him and the crew stayed past closing time to make sure I left with the car I wanted.
