Dear "vickib", Please allow me to reiterate what we (Autos of Dallas - myself included) have discussed with you on this topic. Your review, while somewhat accurate, also contains some inaccuracies with some being grossly misstated. I'll respond by copying/pasting with my responses following each statement. "We bought a C-250 - they only gave us 1 key, didn't have a manual in the car, and no navigation unit. Alex said he would send the Navigation unit, and mail the car manual" This is true and we mailed out the manual and Navigation module less than 24 hours after you purchased the car. " They were very misleading - what place sells a car with only 1 key. I felt like he was hoping we wouldn't notice." Not true! We in no way tired to mislead you. A large portion of our cars come to us with only one key fob. There's no hiding that fact but we should have pointed it out when handing you the keys for the first time. Most customers notice this and question it immediately. This is a caveat in purchasing a previously owned vehicle, but "occasionally" we'll have a second key sent to us after we receive the vehicle and we'll send it to the customer. EVERY dealer that sells previously owned vehicles faces this issue and we choose to preempt this by discounting our vehicles so heavily that "if" a customer chooses to purchase a second key fob, they still come out saving a couple thousand dollars, even after purchasing the spare fob. In your case, you purchased a 2014 Mercedes Benz for UNDER $20,000. I challenge anyone to find a better deal - including buying a spare key fob! "So they knew there were brake problems on another car they were selling" Inaccurate! When cars sit for a few days and get moisture on the brake rotors, they make a slight rubbing noise when driven for the first mile or two. This is very common and our salesman just wanted to point this out so that you didn't concern yourself thinking they may be bad. That car has perfect brakes now, and did when you looked at it. "... they certainly try to hide the problems" A gross misrepresentation of the facts! Proof - we pointed out the noise that may come from the brakes on the first vehicle! "He won't return my call" Another false statement! Alex was in contact with you via [several] emails and with your husband via the telephone and when you asked to speak with a manager that evening, Alex came to me and requested that I call you and discuss, which I did the very next morning by 9:30am - just hours before you left your bad review. You also chose not to return my phone call! "We sat there for over an hour, and not 1 person came by to see if we were being helped" Again, somewhat misleading. Yes you waited for some time but you were waiting on your financial institution to get back to you with financing. In fact, I even chatted with your husband (very nice guy I remember) briefly after I appraised a car for another customer.
