OH MY GOODNESS.....I CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS TO EXPRESS THE APPRECIATION THAT I FEEL REGUARDING LILLIAN!! WE HAD JUST LEFT THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP IN OKC AFTER SPENDING THE WHOLE DAY TRYING TO TRADE OUR 2006 CT APPRECIATION THAT I FEEL REGUARDING LILLIAN!! WE HAD JUST LEFT THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP IN OKC AFTER SPENDING THE WHOLE DAY TRYING TO TRADE OUR 2006 CTS FOR A NEW ELANTRA, THEN BEING TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T GIVE US WHAT WE KNOW OUR VEHICLE WAS WORTH AND WE WOULD NEED A DOWN PAYMENT. I HAD BEEN TALKING TO LILLIAN THE PRIOR DAY TELLING HER WHICH VEHICLE I WAS INTERESTED IN AND SHE ASSURED ME THAT SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP US IN BUYING A NEW CAR. SHE KEPT IN CONTACT WITH ME REASSURING ME AND LETTING ME KNOW THAT SHE LOOKED FORWARD TO WORKING WITH US. SO WE LEFT THAT OKC DEALERSHIP VERY FRUSTRATED AND DISSIPPOINTED IN THAT EXPERIENCE WHEN WE ARRIVED AT AUTOMAX SHE MET US AT THE DOOR. EVEN THO SHE HAD TWO OTHER CUSTOMERS SHE MADE US FEEL SO IMPORTANT AND WAS DETERMINED TO MAKE US A GREAT DEAL AS SHE HAD PROMISED. WE DROVE OFF IN A NEW 2012 ELANTRA LIMITED. We love our new Hyundai Sonata. Our experience with the dealership, Automax Hyundai in Del City, OK was unpleasant. When we ordered the car, we had an agreement in writing with Rick Humphrey at Automax dealership, Automax Hyundai in Del City, OK was unpleasant. When we ordered the car, we had an agreement in writing with Rick Humphrey at Automax Hyundai. Automax Hyundai accepted a $5000 check with the terms of the deal, including the price, written the memo line. When we went to pick up the car, Automax Hyundai did not honor the written agreement. At the time, I told the salesman that Automax Hyundai was not acting with integrity, they did not honor their word. To help close the deal, the salesman offered to detail the car I drove to the dealership. Automax Hyundai damaged my car while they were detailing it. I contacted the salesman and requested reimbursement for the damages done to my car. The salesman called and said she had a check for the damages, but would not send it because of how I had filled out the dealership survey. After my experience I researched Automax Hyundai and found that I wasn’t the first person who had been treated in the same way by Rick Humphrey. I found numerous consumer complaints against this company including a 2008 Oklahoma City case (CJ-08-6107) where Automax Hyundai was found guilty of fraud and ordered to pay $400,000 in damages. To be fair, I also found customers who had positive things to say about Automax Hyundai. But based on my personal experience, I know that I can’t trust Automax Hyundai. Without trust, there is no possibility that I would ever do business with Automax Hyundai again. More
My wife and I recently just bought a new 2012 Sonata from there and we really enjoyed our sales associate Ken Reilly. He was very friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable about the car we were purchasing. E there and we really enjoyed our sales associate Ken Reilly. He was very friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable about the car we were purchasing. Everyone we met while there was extremely friendly and pleasant. Bill Rains was also very helpful and pleasant as well, buying a new car can be very stressful but we felt very relaxed and at ease at Automax. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family anyday. More
I bought my Santa Fe from Automax Del City in 2005. I really loved that car. But I decided it was time to get a new car.Went back to Automax Del City and was greeted by Charles Charles. He and the others at the dealership worked very hard to please me.I got the new Elantra and I love it. After dealing with 2 other local dealerships and being frustrated by their customer service, I had apprehensions about coming to another dealership to buy a used car. I began the process online and was im frustrated by their customer service, I had apprehensions about coming to another dealership to buy a used car. I began the process online and was immediately contacted by Amber Bowie and then Lilian O'Kouri. Lilian worked very hard to get the paperwork underway while I was at work so that I could come in after work, test drive the car I wanted and I was out the door, new keys in hand, in 1.5 hours, which is in the car buying speak is pretty painless. Not only was she nice, helpful and personable the gentleman that did the finance business was just as friendly and helpful (unfortunately I cannot remember his name at this time) which made for a overall exceptional experience all the way around. I will definitely be recommending this dealership and Lilian in particular to anyone looking to buy a new car. More

i WENT IN WITH INTERNET INFORMATION OF 3 ELANTRAS i WAS INTERESTED IN: 2 CERTIFIED AND 1 NOT. i TRIED ONE OF THEM, ASKED ABOUT WETHER IT WAS CERTIFIED OR NOT AND i WAS TOLD, IT WAS NOT, BUT IT COULD BE F INTERESTED IN: 2 CERTIFIED AND 1 NOT. i TRIED ONE OF THEM, ASKED ABOUT WETHER IT WAS CERTIFIED OR NOT AND i WAS TOLD, IT WAS NOT, BUT IT COULD BE FOR AN EXTRA $ 800.00. THE STICKER ON THE CAR ALSO SHOWED THAT IT WAS NOT.. THE NEXT DAY, I WENT IN TO MAKE AN OFFER ON 1 OF THEM ( NOT CERTIFIED) THEY LEFT ME HANGING FOR 20 MINUTES HAVING TAKEN MY DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND CAME BACK TELLING ME THAT i SHOULD BUY THE ONE i WAS NOT INTERESTED IN. I SAID NO, i DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT. THEY INSISTED THAT THE i LIKED WAS CERTIFIED, AND THAT THE WEBSITE i GOT INFORMATION FROM WAS WRONG. IT HAPPENED TO BE THEIR OWN WEBSITE !!!! THEY NEVER COUNTER OFFERED ANYTHING, THEY JUST WANTED TO SELL ME THE ONE i DID NOT WANT. Lillian O'Kouri was amazing. From initial phone contact to end of purchase she met and exceeded every expectation from a car buying experience. She listened to me as the buyer and located the exact vehicle to end of purchase she met and exceeded every expectation from a car buying experience. She listened to me as the buyer and located the exact vehicle I was looking for. There was no haggleing, the vehicle was within my budget, and Bill Rains got the financing I needed. The dealership and all their employees were very welcoming and accomodating as I had two young children with me during the buying process. I would strongly recommend Automax Del City to anyone buying a vehicle. More
They mark their cars up and then try to sell you something you don't want. I would not recommend this dealership to someone that I hate.
