She bent over backwards in helping me through every single aspect of the sale (a new Genesis, which by the way is an incredible car!). Lilian doesn't treat you like just another customer to rush through a quick sale. If you're in the market for a car, call her first. Everyone at the dealership was fantastic too. From the receptionist to the sales manager, parts department, finance and Scott in service. Best of all is that they all remembered exactly who I am and what I bought when I called and came in. They all take the time to make sure that you're taken care of and happy. Bottom line: Great dealership! Great people! Buy here, you won't go wrong. More

I had applied online for a Capital One auto loan blank check at 3am Saturday morning because I was tired of procrastinating on buying a car. The next morning at around 8:50 am Lilian had phoned me with a gracious no nonsense invitation to make an appointment to come into the dealership that day. I knew I needed to test drive the Elantra after I had did my due diligence at Consumer Reports and kbb.com. After arriving at AutoMax, Lilian proceeded to ask me the color I wanted; it was driven up front. She showed me some features along with the trunk space and then I test drove it. Afterward, she was very good at guiding me to fill out the mini application. I filled out the paperwork authorization to proceed through the credit process without even feeling a bit of pressure. The attitude was very nonchalant. I can say the whole time I was there Lilian was very personable and authentic. She was very good at asking me what I wanted and then off to make it happen. I had lunch there Saturday while waiting...employees all seemed very nice in the halls and in the kitchen. It truly was a good experience. I am one to be on guard when it comes to salepeople. I had all intentions on going back home to buy through carsdirect.com but Abe proceeded to process my credit/loan info..and offered me a good rate and monthly payment with no pre-payment penalty(Yeah!). Abe had a calming personality that was complimentary in what his job required him to do. The whole time he was diligent and task oriented, but nice at the same time. He helped me get insurance online before I left the building even though it was on a Saturday. No pressure all the way!!!! I was treated like an mature adult. For the previous auto buyers who have felt tricked in buying cars in the past, I suggest you just take the time to drive out to Del City AutoMaxx. I would certainly go back to them in the future. Lilian and Abe both seemed to have a carefree demeanor, it was an very pleasant experience. More
Lilian was different than any salesperson I have ever worked with. She asked me what I was looking for, what price I would like to pay, trade-in price....I had researched the car and had printouts from worked with. Automax Del City agreed to pay for the TTL. Instead they tried to throw the amount into the loan and not actually pay anything out of the company pocket. After reaching out to the owner, Ron Bowie, it was settled, they were officially not going to do anything to assist with the major issue at hand. The finance department failed and it should not be the customers issue to deal with. They have chosen to ignore the situation and do nothing to assist with the financial stress they have put on us as the consumer. I will never buy a car here again and will definitely let everyone know where to NOT BUY their car from when they ask about where to buy Hyundai. I wouldn’t ever want to subject anyone to an experience such as this one. More

I was greeted in a timely manner and was asked what I was looking for. The salesman was polite and initially showed me what I wanted to see. I was looking at used, late model vehicles. The experience was pleasant until I was pressured to buy a new vehicle after test driving it. It was an uncomfortable experience trying to decide with the salesman telling me I should "step-up" and get the new model. They were concerned with what they could get my monthly payment to be and not the actual price of the vehicle. Many of the vehicles I inquired about before I showed up at the lot were not ready (or they couldn't find) to look at and drive despite the "white glove" appointment. One of the vehicles didn't even start. Some of the used car prices listed were in the appropriate range, but some were listed that had hail damage and interior damage and wear without being adjusted. One of the vehicles I was interested in had a hole in the bumper. After asking about the hole they acted like they hadn't seen it and then were initially going to pass the cost of repairing it on to me. At one point I made a fair offer for a vehicle and the salesman acted like I was crazy and that I was offending him. This of course was not my intention. They then asked me to make another (higher) offer. I did and it was still deemed crazy and futile. Neither offer was unreasonable and trying to negotiate a price became a VERY frustrating experience. As the process dragged on I felt like I was not as important as I was when I first drove on the lot. I eventually made a deal on a used vehicle after HOURS of looking and frustrating negotiations. When I picked up the car the next day the gas tank was mostly empty. UPDATE 1: After driving my car for a couple of days, I began to notice that the alignment is not correct. I find this very frustrating considering this is supposedly a Certified pre-owned vehicle. I cannot understand how this was deemed certified with the alignment out of spec...? It is on the Certified Pre-Owned checklist. I hope they repair this a.s.a.p. UPDATE 2: I had to call the service department about ANOTHER issue. My Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is supposed to come with a 90 day complimentary XM satellite radio subscription. It actually lasted less than a week. I called the service department. They said they would call me back ASAP after checking with XM. It's been 2 days. No one has called me back and my XM is still out. UPDATE 3: I took the car in a few weeks a go to get the alignment repaired (which was supposed to be part of the certified pre-owned process). I am sorry to say it is still pulling to the right. I would expect that after two attempts to correct it it would be fixed. Do they not drive the vehicles to check their work? I want to take it back but am afraid it still won't be corrected. On a positive note my XM radio works great! THANKS! More
