I don't feel that I was taken serious about buying a vehicle I seen online, even after I repeatedly stated I was SERIOUS and ready to buy TODAY! Maybe Jennifer Rush and her Used Car Sales Manager (if s vehicle I seen online, even after I repeatedly stated I was SERIOUS and ready to buy TODAY! Maybe Jennifer Rush and her Used Car Sales Manager (if she really referred my offer) were preoccupied or simply not interested in making a deal. SO, I PURCHASED ELSEWHERE! Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of being able to go from dealership to dealership haggling over a price, but rest assured it we were able to get close, I was ready to make that trip. However; Jennifer Rush/Automax was not ready to deal, at least with me. Please see one of my final replies to Jennifer Rush below: It is very obvious to me that you all were not trying to sell that Pathfinder or any other vehicle to me, but that's okay. There were other dealerships interested in selling cars and even selling one to ME. As I told you on Monday, I was a SERIOUS buyer and ready to buy that day (or whenever) if the VEHICLE & PRICE were right! You all chose not to deal, at least with me. Therefore, I took my business elsewhere. Not to mention that vehicle has been on your lot nearly 60 days if not more and for a dealership that IS a big deal. MOST dealerships don't want to hold onto vehicles for that length of time, but maybe you all are different. I wasn't your average buyer. I have been in your shoes and am very aware of how the business works. That is why I assured you that I was a SERIOUS buyer and ready to buy THAT DAY! After all, that is the name of the game. Sell cars and make some money doing it. E-commerce is the way of the world now and if you all don't get on board, you may stand the potential to leave a lot of money on the table for others to grab. Unfortunately, not everyone has the time, nor ability to come into a dealership to make a deal. Sometimes the deal has to be made off-site (phone, email, text, IM, etc) and then finalized at the dealership, which is by the way, what I done. I spent maybe 45 mins tops at the dealership and that included the test drive, agreeing to a final OTD price and paperwork. I am very satisfied with the vehicle I purchased and I have you all to partly thank for it. Had I purchased from you all, I would have been happy because I did like the vehicle. Nonetheless, I like the one I purchased more, probably because I like Toyota's over Nissan's. Either would have worked for me though. So, I guess some good did come out of all of this after all. Anyway, I appreciate your time (or lack thereof) and can honestly say I am glad I did not sell cars for you all. I may not have survived relying on deals ONLY when the potential customer was in front of me. I wish you well and happy selling. Take care... Respectfully, David W. More

I loath going to a car dealership and dealing with any employee there to be honest. AutoMax Hyundai in Del City has changed that feeling for me. I was impressed with my salesman, Ken Reilly. He met me as employee there to be honest. AutoMax Hyundai in Del City has changed that feeling for me. I was impressed with my salesman, Ken Reilly. He met me as I pulled in and didn't put any pressure on me to be bothered by him. He was very helpful in my purchase and made me feel like a friend. I didn't feel any pressure like most places exert. Ken did a great job. I've seen some negative reviews for Rick Humphrey, but I felt he was friendly and fair. I felt in general the dealership was honest with me as well. Everything was straight forward and the employees worked to ensure I was happy. It was a stress free experience for me. That can't be said for the other places I've dealt with in the past. If you're looking for a new car, I recommend trying AutoMax Hyundai in Del City and ask for Ken Reilly. More
We had been looking for a car for a month and had been to a number of dealerships. Automax Hyundai was by far the worst experience. They lied to us and pulled a bait and switch to get us in the door. I had a number of dealerships. Automax Hyundai was by far the worst experience. They lied to us and pulled a bait and switch to get us in the door. I had been communicating with them by e-mail before coming in. They had convinced me on a new Elantra GT which they said I could get for "$17000 with rebates." There were no qualifiers to this statement. They even said "You can get it for just $1000 more" than a used car we were looking at for $16000. So we made an appointment and came in for a test drive. When we get there, the salesperson even confirmed the $17000 price with us and several times while test driving she said we'd get the base model for that price. We sat down ready to start talks at $17000, then the salesperson comes to us with a number well over $18000. We're taken aback and ask what's going on because we thought we were at $17000. We soon learned that the $17000 number was including every possible rebate (military, recent grad, tornado victim, previous Hyundai owner, etc.) WOW! That is completely disingenuous and NOT what was implied in their email. They did not say "qualifying rebates" or "if you qualify for every rebate" so I naturally assumed these were rebates for EVERYONE. I mean having someone walk in who meets all those qualifiers is probably about as likely as winning the lottery so that tactic is completely over the top. Then, the manager comes over and tells us we were actually at some $19000 price because we didn't even qualify for the other price (it was still including military discount). So the price literally went up! What a weird way to negotiate. He also said that one of the rebates had expired in the days since that e-mail. He was very aggressive and insulted Bob Howard by accusing them of using literally the same tactics that they pulled with us. We walked. They could have had a customer for life. Instead, we took our business to another dealership and got a great deal on a used Santa Fe. I even e-mailed them after the bad experience to let them know how disappointed we were and had no response. Avoid AutoMax Hyundai! More
I appreciate the prompt e-mail responses from Jennifer and her availability by phone to answer questions. She recommended I come in and collaborate with Lilian, her miracle worker, and before the day was and her availability by phone to answer questions. She recommended I come in and collaborate with Lilian, her miracle worker, and before the day was done, I had a shiny beautiful new car! It's too good to be true and I keep expecting to wake up from a dream. Even as I was writing this review two days after my purchase, Lilian was calling me to ask how things were going and if I was having any problems with the car. More

The overall experience with my salesman, Benjamin, was fine. He was very nice and easy to work with. But he sold me a product he didn't know very much about. I purchased a used 2012 Ford Fusion. I was fine. He was very nice and easy to work with. But he sold me a product he didn't know very much about. I purchased a used 2012 Ford Fusion. I was told the car had Bluetooth that would allow me to pair my phone but it does not. The dealership says they conduct a safety inspection on their vehicles but the tail lights and the passenger side window didn't work. After taking it to the Ford dealership it turns out the car has been wrecked and several things were wired incorrectly, the tail lights is one example. Both the motor, switch, and wiring have been replaced in the door but the only way to fix the window problem is to replace the entire door. Bottom line with purchasing a used car from Automax is to trust but verify! More
As a member of the United States Military I'm always reluctant to look into dealerships near base. After going into the dealership I was greeted by my sales associate. Overall I was satisfied with reluctant to look into dealerships near base. After going into the dealership I was greeted by my sales associate. Overall I was satisfied with the sale. However; I was a little dissatisfied with the sales team in only one way. Seemed like he wouldn't let me speak or quick to talk over me. If thats all I have to deal with I can take it. He wasn't pushy and was rather kind otherwise. I had searched at other dealerships in the metro and because of my appearance(I have been told I look younger than I am) and requirements for a vehicle they paid me no real "respect" as a buyer. My requirements were full or large sized sedan with good gas mileage. Pretty simply and i wanted a vehicle used under 30K miles and no more than $17,000 out the door. Although I can afford more, I didn't want to. Mr. Kile knew this and worked me right into what I wanted and offered a New Car close to that price only once. Now this experience didn't come without any type of set-backs though. We bought our car June 1, 2013 the day after tornadoes ripped through the area again. The vehicle i bought was slightly dirty and had some pitting that at first was hard to notice. After its first wash at our home (4 days later) the pitting had begun to crack. I called the dealership and got a slight bit of static but more so because there was a certain route they had to go to CY6 (cover their own) to make sure they didn't lose money. In the end we got our windshield fixed and they were very understand of my concerns. I had seen reviews of other people who had problems in their car buying here specifically, however; I wanted to see for myself and highly recommend that you do the same! Mr. Kile is pretty straight forward and from what I can tell most of the staff followed that montra. Seemingly to me in my time around a week long experience everyone that arrived on their lot drove off with 30 day tags, so they must be doing something right. I would recommend anyone who has their mindset on a vehicle and price range make in known right away. Respectfully, Proud Owners of a 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS. Matt and Kellie More
My wife and I went to the Automax dealership with the intention of just looking at a new vehicle for her to commute in. We were greeted immediately by Tom who was extremely courteous, yet didn't make us intention of just looking at a new vehicle for her to commute in. We were greeted immediately by Tom who was extremely courteous, yet didn't make us feel pressured into anything. Tom showed us a few cars, and let us test drive the one that we were interested in. Danny, the sales manager was very friendly and worked hard to get us the financing option that best fit our needs. I read a few negative reviews about this dealership, and while I feel bad for those who had less than stellar experiences, I must say that for my wife and I, we had 5 star service throughout our entire visit. Tom and Danny were both very knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. Normally, I dread car shopping, but this was the best car shopping experience that I have ever had. We left the dealership with exactly what we wanted, and didn't feel like we just got raked over the coals. Thank you Automax, and the fine group of employees that you have working for you. A special thanks to Tom and Danny for going above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. More
