This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased at this dealership, (a new Hyundai in 2006 then this one which was a slightly used 2013 model), and have nothing but good things to say about the staff there dealership, (a new Hyundai in 2006 then this one which was a slightly used 2013 model), and have nothing but good things to say about the staff there..I was walking around looking at the Pickups on the lot when I was approached by Cody who ask if there was anything he could help me with--(NO Pressure), just showed me the trucks and explained anything I ask him about..I had been to several other dealer by then (because I was looking for a truck, and Hyundai does not build one) and really wasn't expecting to find one at Automax..Was pleasantly surprised when I was driving by to see exactly what I was looking for..Cody got the keys--we test drove it, then talked about price, once again no pressure, I was given a excellent price with a very fair price on my trade in..Visited with Abe in finance and the whole deal was done and I was out the door in less than an hour..I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone looking in the OKC area... I bought my first Hyundai from here and I really was not impressed. I received a call from Lilian about the prospect of trading in my current car for a new one. This was my first experience buy at Automax in Midwest city. Over all it was a pleasurable experience. The two gentlemen who helped me were very polite and courteous. This is our Third vehicle purchased at AutoMax in Del City. We had went in one evening and Reggie was helping us. He tried very hard to find the right Santa Fe for us even trying to get one from Tulsa City. We had went in one evening and Reggie was helping us. He tried very hard to find the right Santa Fe for us even trying to get one from Tulsa brought in so we could look at it. The next day when we went in he had not been able to get the Santa Fe from Tulsa but kept look for one that would work for us and was not Gray. He brought out the red Santa Fe that we had been looking at the night before and told us to take it out for a test drive again and talk about it. When we came back from the test drive Cody started working on getting a price we would all agree on. It has always been a good experience working with AutoMax in Del City everyone is always so friendly and we all ways take it back for them to service it. Scott in the shop has went out of his way to help us in any way he could on the service. I'm sure we will get our next vehicle from them too. More
After doing extensive research on 4 vehicles, I decided that I wanted the Hyundai Veloster. I started searching the web site of dealerships. When I was on the web site for Automax at Del City, OK, a servic that I wanted the Hyundai Veloster. I started searching the web site of dealerships. When I was on the web site for Automax at Del City, OK, a service representative came on, we discussed the interest rate which was advertised at 2.9%. She asked me to complete an application and was told that the financial personal saw no reason for me to not qualify for the 2.9% interest. She then told me to ask for the manager when I arrived at the dealership and he would give me a good deal this was on June 22, 2013. I drove a 100 miles to look at the vehicles that were in stock. Upon arrival I was approached by a salesman and told him I was told to ask for the manager. He took me inside and I never saw the manager. I told him I wanted the Veloster Turbo but not the orange color that were in stock. All of a sudden he’s talking with someone and says that a silver one will be coming in the next day. I asked about one with a sunroof and was told the Turbo didn’t have come with that. I also wanted the back-up camera and was told that I didn’t that it wasn’t helpful. Because the price was $3000.00 more than what was on the lot and $1000.00 less than the one I built online I told him I wanted to think about it. He said what’s to think about and kept after me until I consented to the car. After completing the paper work I asked for the keys to my car back and was told that I would be driving one of their vehicles because they didn’t want any more mileage on mine. I came away from there with the worst experience every at a dealership. I feel like because I was a woman they took advantage of me. I should have been over joyed, this was the first new vehicle I had purchased in 20 years. I received an email requesting me to critique my experience, which I did voicing the same concerns I have in this letter. I never heard anything from the dealership. About 30 days after the purchase I decided to check the web site where the critique was, there was a response from the general manager with his email address and phone number. I emailed him and never heard anything from him. After having the car for 45 days without receiving my title or payment book, I called the dealership to talk with the general manager and he immediately turned me over to the financial personal. I was told by him that everything had been returned (not once did they try to contact me about my address). When the paper work had been completed he had put my physical address and not my P.O. Box. I had told him to begin with that I do not receive mail at my physical address it had to be the P.O. Box. But here is another example of the way I was treated. He gave me the number of the finance company for me to contact and explain this to mix up to. I was 12 days late on my payment and still do not have the title to purchase my tag. (Which will have incurred interest for being delinquent.) I really do love my car and would love it more if it had everything I had wanted to begin with but due to my experience with this dealership this is my first and last time to buy a Hyundai. More

I went down to look at a Hummer that i had seen online. We bought the Hummer on a Saturday and when I got home and had more time to check over things, I had noticed a few isues. First thing Monday morning I called to talk to my salesman Tom Merolla who was instantly deffensive when i tried to explaine to him the isues I was having. He explained that these isues cannot be true because they had serviced the vehicle. He then told me to call him back on Thursday to see what we could do, which I later had discovered he had done this because he had someone who i personally new was coming down to purchase my trade in which i was told was going to be sent to auction because it supposedly wasnt worth more than the 1500 thay gave me for the vehicle. They had sold it to my friend for 4000 dollars cuz they told him they had given me 3500 for the truck. So besides all the lies I called Tom back on Tuesday because I did not want wait to take care of theses isuses. He said fine bring it down Saturday so I was there first thing for him to take his anger out on me cuz he had just gotten a speeding ticket on the way to work. He then told me to come back Monday after work and they would get it in.. I brought it in on Monday were they did give me a loner which was the only good thing so far. After having my Hummer at the dealership all week with no phone call or update I called them and was told that they were not goin to work on it until my additionally purchased warranty kicked in after 30 days. I then called and talked to Rick Humphrey a sales manager who couldnt seem to understand my being upsest and he told me that i must not have been aware that I had purchased a used vehicle and that if I didnt like it I can just come on down and pick up my vehicle as is. He reluctantly said that he would see what was goin on and call me back. I called him back after an hour and he told me parts were on order. I called back on Tuesday and was again told that they were not going to do anything until my warranty kicked in. I made one last call to Carol there customer service manager and thanks to her I finally was able to get some of the isues fixed but had later found out that they hadnt evan changed the oil which I was told was done before i purchased the Hummer. My advice is to dont evan look when you drive by this place unless you want the worst car buying experience of your life!!! More
