I want to share my experience with Auto Savvy Car Sales, as it has been nothing short of a nightmare. My journey began out of necessity; I had been struggling to secure financing for a vehicle and wa Sales, as it has been nothing short of a nightmare. My journey began out of necessity; I had been struggling to secure financing for a vehicle and was referred to Auto Savvy by a friend. When I arrived, I was greeted by a salesman named Alex, who promptly had me fill out a credit application. After running my credit, they informed me that I would need a substantial down payment to qualify for financing. I ended up putting down $1500.** That day, I was told I qualified for only one vehicle: a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 with 90,000 miles on it . To my dismay, I later learned it had a salvage title because it had been totaled in an accident. Nevertheless, I was desperate for a vehicle to commute to work and transport my kids, so I felt I had no choice but to proceed. I was approved at an exorbitant 22% interest rate, and I paid $29,000 for the truck. Time was of the essence, and I was rushed through the process, only taking a brief drive around the dealership.** **The moment I hit the highway at 65 mph, the truck shook violently and emitted disturbing noises. The very next morning, I discovered the horrific overspray from a poor paint job on multiple parts of the truck, including the driver’s door, fender, and even the window. It became clear that the truck had not been properly repaired; the front-end alignment was off, and when I engaged the windshield wipers for the first time, the entire arm flew off! To top it all off, the four-wheel-drive system failed during a snowstorm, rendering it completely useless.** **After just two days of ownership, I reached out to Auto Savvy to voice my concerns. I spoke to one of the managers, who assured me they would notify the service department. A month passed without any updates, and after I brought the truck in for repairs, they offered me a $1,500 settlement to cover the issues instead of fixing the vehicle properly. I had purchased an extended warranty for $3500 thinking it would provide some protection, but it turned out to be useless.** **After several days , the service department finally identified the issue with the four-wheel-drive as an actuator problem. They claimed to have fixed it, but as soon as I picked up the truck, I found that the four-wheel-drive still didn’t work. Frustrated, I reached out to the store manager, Matt, and asked if they could assist me in trading this lemon for a more reliable vehicle. I had made all my payments on time with Westlake Financial for the last four months and felt my credit had improved. I even noticed they had a similar truck with only 40,000 miles priced at $3,000 more and with a clean title. However, their response was disheartening: they wouldn’t even make me a offer for the truck I had just bought for $29,000.** My resolution to the problem was let me trade it in for another vehicle that has the potential to keep me on the road for a couple years until I can purchase something decent. Matt the manager said sorry we are not interested in helping u and walked away . **I feel utterly taken advantage of in this situation. Auto Savvy knew I was in a vulnerable position, desperate for a vehicle, and they capitalized on it. I implore anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to think twice before stepping foot into Auto Savvy Car Sales. This experience has left me feeling deceived and disrespected. No one should have to endure what I have gone through just to secure a means of transportation. I went in to test drive a 2023 model, but since the manager had it out, I ended up driving a 2020 instead. Surprisingly, I liked the 2020 much better than the 2023!
