The employee parking lot itself is a showcase of beautiful VW's. Mike is the man. I have now bought 5 VW's from him and I refer everyone to him. My friends and family have all had the same experience with Dan and Andy, nothing but a pleasurable easy buying experience. Even the finance manager Lance is superb. They will not try sliding anything under the table or play any tricks. Buy from Gunther I promise you will have an excellent experience. Do not go to Gossett. I purchased a Golf TDI from Gossett before Gunther opened. It was among one of the worst buying experiences that I have ever had. I plan on giving Gunther more of my business. First, let me say that I grew up in car dealerships. I know the lingo, the tricks of the trade, etc. I'm 38 years old and have purchased 12 cars, four of which were brand new (and two of those new ones we know the lingo, the tricks of the trade, etc. I'm 38 years old and have purchased 12 cars, four of which were brand new (and two of those new ones were VW Jettas). Suffice to say that "I've been around the car block a few times" and one of the biggest skeptics that I know. I’m an average middle class person that watches every cent that I spend. With that said, please let me tell you about Bo Nunez and the rest of the team at Gunther Volkswagen in Buford, GA. I initiated contact through their website because I was interested in a car that they had listed on their inventory. Mr. Nunez called me the next day and I was immediately impressed by his candor and professionalism. I insisted on working on the deal via phone and Mr. Nunez accommodated me. Over the course of 3 days he was able to put a deal together that I just couldn’t turn down. I drove to the dealership and was immediately welcomed by everyone there. The showroom isn’t “institutionalized” and stark. Believe me, this dealership is unique, from the lighting to the music. It’s like walking into a cafe with museum-quality exhibits. Mr. Nunez introduced me to everyone and then we walked to his office. There was no pressure or tricks. In fact it was almost anti-climatic when I realized that I wouldn’t need the arsenal of carsalesman kryptonite that I’d assembled. It was more like picking up “my” car than the typical negotiations and stalemates that usually accompany these transactions. The people in the Service Department were just as friendly as everyone else. I was made aware that my first service visit had already been scheduled for me, but that I was more than welcome to change the time & date if I’d like. Mr. Nunez then introduced me to my new Jetta, made sure that I was familiar with all of the features, and even connected the stereo’s bluetooth to my iPhone for me. Then he took me to the dreaded Finance Manager (dun-dun-daaaaaa). I walked in with my guard on triple alert. After less than 5 minutes, I relaxed. There was no smoke, mirrors, bait & switch, etc - just old-fashioned honesty. If I hadn’t run my mouth so much, I probably would’ve spent less than an hour there. Trouble is that the people and retro California ambiance make you want to take off your shoes and hang out for a while. Communication since purchasing my Jetta has been superb. I’ve received phone calls and e-mails from Mr. Nunez and other team members checking to make sure that I’m happy and all is well. If you’re in the market for something that Gunther VW might have, you should definitely check them out. I know I’ll be back. More
Great service, I was looking for a new car...and left with a certified pre-owned car, with super low miles, and a bunch of money in my pocket!!! Can't be a more satisfied customer!! They didn't give 2 hoots about me, even with a down deposit and great credit. There finance department was horrible! A month later the 2 cars I was looking at are still there. I went by the dealership and was greeted by our salesman. He said his name was Eric and that he was there to help us through our car buying experience. Once back at the dealership we went to his office where we started the paperwork. It wasn't long and I was signing my contact. I love my new car and Eric truly did what he said he would. I am writing today to share with you the excellent service I received from Masoud two weeks ago at Gunther VW by the Mall of GA. As a single woman I was hesitant going to a dealership to purchase a service I received from Masoud two weeks ago at Gunther VW by the Mall of GA. As a single woman I was hesitant going to a dealership to purchase a car. Actually, I always envisioned dealers as vultures hovering over their prey. I made my fears clear to Masoud and he made it clear that he always does the best for his customers. And, I have to say that I agree. The dealership itself is nothing like I have ever seen. They have classic VW's in the showroom with lots of TV's on the walls and music going inside and out. Certainly not your typical dealer. Masoud asked me some questions about what type of car I wanted and proceeded to show me a couple of cars and clearly explained my financial options. He was patient in answering all of my questions. After evaluating my options, I am proud to say I am a proud owner of a 2012 VW JETTA!. Masoud was wonderful to work with. I was delighted to work with a salesperson whose knowledge, respect and sense of humor made my car purchasing process a pleasure. Bought a Audi A4 from Weidong a couple month ago and was very happy with the dealership. What an amazing place with all the art and antique cars. I have never seen a dealership like this. Had seen a 2011 CC over at Gunther and was really not inclined to buy at this time. Got to talking to one the salesmen, Justin Tenbroeck about the vehicle and how much I could not stand "pushy" salespeo inclined to buy at this time. He just listened to me and addressed my concerns so much so that I purchased it from them. There was no 1st deal, no 2nd deal, just a super price the first time. I was surprised that he really listened to me and heard what I was saying. These people are a great bunch and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car. More

My sister and I have been looking for a good used Jetta TDI for several months. I fully expected to move on to the next dealership on my list. Rafeal Mateo was BY FAR the most knowledgeable of the many salesmen we spoke with at the many dealerships we previously visited. He was friendly, too, and it was lovely to deal with him but mainly, he knew what he was talking about! He listened to us and answered the questions we asked (sounds like that would be easy but this was a first in our experience!) The dealership is lovely and the Cuban coffee was a special treat but the main reason to visit this dealership in our experience is the superior product and professionalism. More
