It's now more than 71 days and Hilton Head VW has yet to register my vehicle. I have made numerous attempts, left countless attempts while leaving countless voices mails for both Mr. Alex Lukas (Finance Director), Khurran Khan (General Manager) only to be ignored. I live an hour and a half away and was willing to drive the distance, by passing two Volkswagen dealers locally, just based on the service I got on the phone. Brittany is always friendly when answering the phone, speaks clearly, and is very helpful. Jeff Long is extremely knowledgeable and really looks out for your best interest. He takes the time needed to get the results you would want as a customer. You may be one of 20 people he is working with and you would never know because he is capable of treating you as if you are the only one. He really took his time to make sure I understood every aspect of my new car and the entire buying process as it happened. Alex is a miracle worker in my eyes. I went from only being able to consider a used vehicle to walking out with a brand new one thanks to him. The dealership itself is clean and inviting and every employee I encountered was friendly and happy to be there. It truly was a great experience. More
Beetle Dreams due come True at Hlton Head Volkswagon It was a great experience working with everyone at the Auto Mall and specifically Hlton Head Volkswagon. I started out looking for a specific Beetle It was a great experience working with everyone at the Auto Mall and specifically Hlton Head Volkswagon. I started out looking for a specific Beetle Convertible in used condition using talking with Corey our previous sales person of a Hyundai Santa Fe 2012 along with Judy and Adrienne Breland. Then with the help of Lance Terrell scheduling an appointment went to Hilton Head Volkswagon and that's when the story evolved. Hilton Head Volkswagon was having a clearance on 2014 Beeltes and now it made more sense to get a new car. Dustin Walsh then became our main contact/consultant/ salesperson. He was great and tried to help us anyway he could. Dustin first met me at dealership on Friday evening around 6:15 PM and work something out which involve a trade in . The next day Saturday morning I arrived back with the family and wife Patty got too test drive the Beetle convertible and loved it. It is a beautiful car with wonderful detailed design, and features. This car has sure evolved (Very Impressive). Anyway Dustin was great again that day working with us all he could. Of course we need to also recognize and appreciate the manager like Khurram Khan who you don't notice because he always stays in the background but he is the one that gives the approval on our request and was kind to us with the trade in value. Anyway we ended up getting a great deal! Lots of help with financing (Nikki), insurance (Krista), technical advice (Doozer Boudeau) , and Nikki was great with service plans. Volkswagon company pinched in as well will rebate and low 1.9% Interest. Shopping for a car is hard work and you need to do your own homework to pick a style vehicle you think you want. Then at that point you are ready to go dealers both online and property. Hilton Head Volkswagon was such a great experience for us while purchasing the Beetle convertible that it was actually fun doing it! Now we have been with the Beetle Convertible a few days and almost every time we stop somewhere we are approached by people giving us compliments on nice set of wheels. Still need to work some things out with wife on when I will get to drive it but that's the way it goes. Last words we can say about Hilton Head Volkswagon and the Beelte Convertible is the word F u n. More
In first negotiations of a price, one of the managers offered us the desired car for a certain price. Then he tried to convince us to lease the car instead, although it was our desire to pay cash. After thinking about the reason for this pressure to lease for a night, we returned the next day with the desire to purchase the car for the price the manager had quoted the previous day. NOW the general manager, who had been absent the day before, asked for 500 more than his manager had agreed to accept. We were then told, if we would lease the car for 3 months we could have it for our desired price with no extra cost. We pointed out several times that we would only agree to this if after the 3 months we were forced to accept the lease the end cost of the car would be exactly the same. When it came time (after 4 hours of waiting) to finalize the deal with the finance manager we found out that we would have to sign a 2 year lease, which if we surrendered it after 3 months, would have increased our purchase price by more than $2000. The general manager who joined the conversation at this point was extremely rude, obnoxious and loud, totally missing any social graces. How anybody would ever want to do business with these people who will not keep their word and will try to insult your intelligence by their conveluted dealings, is beyond me. Customers be warned! More
