THE MOST AWESOME CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER. The purchase of my Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax Limited Edition is by far the most facinating experience where everything connected in the positive The purchase of my Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax Limited Edition is by far the most facinating experience where everything connected in the positive making me a happy warm and fuzzy customer. AutoNation Toyota Winter Park Florida provided the most pleasant atmosphere while, from insecurity dealing with a competitor Toyota dealership, to great security with this dealership and earning their trust and integrity true to their words. It was a pleasure to do business with the team at AutoNation Toyota Winter Park Florida. And that's saying a lot since I am from the neighboring state of Georgia and had to fly into the Orlando, Florida area to purchase and pick up my Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4 Limited Edition. As some of you might know, this day in age (March 2022) finding a vehicle such as a pick up truck is quite a chore with very limited supply, used vehicle inflation on a seriously high rise and virtually no 4x4 pick up trucks available in any metropolitan city without an inflated selling price set at $10k-15k above normal NADA prices. Let alone trying to find a 4x4 pick up truck with decently low miles. I chose AutoNation Toyota Winter Park because I was burned by another Toyota dealership also in Florida near the Atlantic coast, something VXXX Beach Toyota. That dealership and I agreed on a price of a Tundra Crewmax 4x4 however while I was getting ready to arrange for my flight to go buy it, I asked the sale rep for new updated pictures and noticed the dealer had swapped out the original Micheline truck tires for some cheapo GeoTires and then went on reneged on their Toyota Certified Vehicle as it was displayed and advertised as Toyota Certified Vehicle per their online dealer website, saying the Tundra is actually not a Certified Toyota Vehicle. The Sales Manager didn't even apologize for the wrongful advertisement and said it was a error by the internet team and those things happen all the time and proceeded to say he will cut me a a great deal of only $1900 to make that truck into a Toyota Certified Vehicle, plus that dealer charges an additional $4999 for a made up Special one of a kind "Dealer Package", the sale rep couldn't even articulate what the package consist of. Shame on that Toyota Dealer near Vxxx Beach, FL, I don't recommend them. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere hence I found Autonation Toyota Winter Park Florida. While continuing my online search for my desired vehicle of choice, a 1 or 2 year old Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4 Limited Edition V8, (YES, I wanted a V8, not the new 2022 V6 twin turbo) I spotted this Tundra online at Toyota Winter Park. I quickly filled out the online inquiry directly on Toyota Winter Park's website, as some data on 3rd party websites may not be up to date so going directly to the dealer's website should provide the most accurate information. Shortly after my online inquiry submission, about 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from my sales representative - Argenis Gonzalez (aka "Professional Certified Sales Associate & Lease Consultant Plus", aka "Part-Time Videographer", aka "VIP Chaffuer Captain & Breakfast Buddy"). He quickly answered the initial questions I had mentioned on my online inquiry and the further we discussed about the Tundra, the more questions I had. Argenis was attentive to detail and any question he wasn't able to answer on the spot, he quickly took note and got back to me in short order. Argenis was also very respectful of my preferred method of communication via text messaging and by phone for more pressing matters such as verbal or mutual acknowledgements. Argenis also went on to explain that AutoNation Toyota Winter Park is a no-haggle dealership that provide their customer's full pricing transparency including Florida dealer fees & any associated tax & tag fees, no hidden fees, what you see is what you pay. Most importantly, the Tundra CrewMax 4x4 Limited Edition was fully factory optioned out with everything I wanted, including EXTRAS like front driver/passenger tinted windows, Toyota factory steel lock safe, Toyota stealth sidesteps, plus a diamond in the rough bonus find - a perfect mint condition camper shell w/LED lights, lock & carpeted headliner (for all you overlanders) and removable cabin window and it is a Toyota Certified Vehicle, 1 owner, 32k miles, 2 set of keys, 2 years oil, tire change, etc.. etc... The advertised price was substantianally lower than any other competing dealer in my neighboring states (AL, GA, SC, TN, VA, MS) between $6k-$10k lower. It was nearly impossible to find the same like for like vehicle in Georgia and neighboring states without paying a ridiculously inflated premium price for a 1 or 2 year old 4x4 PickUp Truck with larger back seats with less than 50k miles + Certified Vehicle. I even considered other competitive half-ton pick up trucks but no, pass on those. Back to the discussion with the sales rep; after Argenis provided me with all the information I asked for I verbally commited but said I am from out of town and would need to fly down, what else can he do for me. He acknowledged and said he will get his Sales Manager to give me a call. Thirty minutes later I received a phone call from Toyota Winter Park Florida's Internet Sales Director (aka "Sales Manager", aka "The Bossman", aka "Deal Miester", aka "The guy that can get me what I want") - Chafik Alloui. He took this time, articulating more that they are a no haggle dealer, none of that meet in the middle on price thing that normally happens in traditional car buying activities. I did try to negotiate but his explanation helped me understand their position which I fully appreciate, their price speaks for itself as I have spent nearly 15 months carefully researching Trucks and purchae prices, value vs needs, cost vs performance, wants and must haves, you know what I mean. I went on to say to Chafik, I'm from out of state and will have to fly down to purchase the Tundra, this entire ordeal happed on a Thursday and I had planned to fly down Saturday. I asked if they would consider and arrange for someone to pick my wife and I up at Orlando International Airport. Chafik simply said, when my wife and I arrive he will have someone there to pick me up, no problem whatsoever. I said great, send me the sales agreement via email and I'll get it signed asap, which was still Thursday late evening around 4pm. Chafik immediately asked Argenis to do a video walk through of the Truck and do a proper show and tell so I can see it in it's current condition from afar. He wanted to be sure I see it properly before commiting to travel 475 miles or 1.5hr flight. Moments later, I received the an incredible "High Definition" video from Argenis as he did a walk through of the Toyota Tundra 4x4 Limited Editiion V8 and I want to re-emphasize Argenis did a great video presentation showing me the Tundra front-side-back, inside and out, including rubbing the leather seats, doorpanels, dashboard and instrument panels, wheels & tires, Engine bay, internal/external showing of the Camper Shell and he even covered some specifics about the vehicle that I didn't consider. Argenis did a Super Fantastic job with the video presentation in high quality HD format and even had a "Congratulations Name" on the windshield. Fast forward, I signed the short form Intent to Purchase Form, returned it to my sales rep Argenis and his manager Chafik Thursday night. The next day, Friday mid-afternoon 3pm, I went to my Credit Union for the $$,$$$ since I was already a pre-approved platinum customer. Credit Union told me they needed a different sales agreement called a "Buyer's Order" naming my Credit Union as Title holder/Lein holder. By that time, it was around 4pm Friday. Oh snap in a huge bind/crunch time now. I quickly got on the phone with Chafik aka the BossMan and said, "Please I need your help to write up a Dealer's Buyer Order to give to my credit union so they can cut me a check tonight (Friday) so I can arrange my flight and pick up my new truck tomrrow Saturday." Chafik understood the urgency and quickly got to work and got me the buyer's order around 4:45pm. I forwarded it onto my Credit Union and called them right away, to follow up. Deep Breathe - My Credit Union, said, yes they received it but sorry they won't be able to process it until Monday and then I can come pick up the check later in the day on Monday or possibly Tuesday which means my earliest flight down to Florida would have to be Tuesday, making my agreed upon Tundra purchase sales deal push out 5 calendar days. I for one am true to my commitment and did not want to delay that far out and called Argenis who quickly got me in touch with Chafik again. Bad news from Chafik, the dealership can't hold a pending deal such longer than 24-48 hours and no layaway deals. I was devastated. However Chafik, suggested another alternative that would be even more mutually benefiicial and if he can match my Credit Union's Finance Rate of 3% for a 1 or 2 year old Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax Limited Edition with 32k miles, will I go ahead and make my arrangements to fly down over the weekend. I shrugged thinking it might be impossible for the dealer to match the interest rate but agreed to give it a try. Didn't want to lose the Truck over the weekend since no holds past 48hrs. Fast forward, filled out the application, submitted, 7pm Friday night comes around, received a call from Chafik, he said the Finance manager Pedro will give me a call shortly. 5 minutes later Pedro calls and says, please go ahead and let Chafik know when I will be arriving so he can arrange for pick up at airport. I said, wait Chafik and you (Pedro) the Finance Manager were supposed to match my Credit Union's rate. He laughed and said, no problem, matching that rate, for me he will do anything so long as I enjoy my trip to and from. I was estatic and arranged to fly down on Sunday morning, since no flights were avaialble for Saturady. My VIP Chaffuer Captian/Breakfast Buddy - Argenis picked my wife and I up at the Orlando International Airport Sunday morning, went to have breakfast at an awesome little diner across the street from the dealership since they open at 11:00am on Sunday. After breakfast, I test drove the Tundra and as expected perfect. Went inside the dealership, signed a couple of papers, had a coke, met the staff, met Pedro the Finance Manager (another great and talented guy at AutoNation Toyota Winter Park) - Shout out to Pedro!!, he gave me my temporary Florida Tag, put it on the truck, took photos with Argenis, and did a final meet and greet with Chafik, who came in on Sunday to make sure I was squared away. Shout out to Chafik! All and all, this dealership totally rocks. I've never done a car buying experience like this but it's checked off my bucket list. Oh by the way the 38 gallon fuel tank was a blessing. Didn't have to fill the tank till I got home in the metro Atlanta area. Thanks to Argenis Gonzalez, Chafik Alloui, and Pedro for providing an awesome no haggle car buying experience and for picking us up as the airport. It was quite an adventure with the travel from Atlanta to Orlando to pick up my new/used 1 or 2 year old Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax Limited Edition V8 with a camper shell. Yeah with a camper shell. My family and I will enjoy this truck for years to come. Cheers D&D M. More
Dealership low xxxxx my trade in and talking down your trade in, best if you sell your car somewhere else. Other auto nation dealership offer $2000 more for trade in but this dealership won’t budge giving trade in, best if you sell your car somewhere else. Other auto nation dealership offer $2000 more for trade in but this dealership won’t budge giving an excuse. Bought my new 2022 rav4 and had to negotiate with them that I don’t want any dealer installed options. Over all experience was okay and not able to negotiate the car price was a negative experience. Should’ve bought from pinellas park Toyota. More
Service was fine and the advisor was nice, but the wait, considering I had an appointment, was horrendous. It took 3 hours for what was probably a 10-15 minute service. They shouldn't schedule so many cars considering I had an appointment, was horrendous. It took 3 hours for what was probably a 10-15 minute service. They shouldn't schedule so many cars if they can't handle that many. More
