Extremely Frustrating Experience with AutoNation & Safe-Guard Cancellation Process My initial car purchase experience with AutoNation was seamless. The sales team got me a great deal on a 2021 Hond Safe-Guard Cancellation Process My initial car purchase experience with AutoNation was seamless. The sales team got me a great deal on a 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid, and I was genuinely satisfied at that point. However, what followed with the upselling of additional products has been nothing short of frustrating. The sales agent, Jean, convinced me to opt for tire coverage from Safe-Guard, despite knowing that I wouldn’t be eligible for claims due to the tread condition of my existing tires. A couple of months ago, I decided to cancel the coverage upon realizing its futility. Since then, the experience has been a nightmare: It took Safe-Guard 6-7 weeks to process the cancellation, and they supposedly issued a refund check on November 29. As of now, no one can confirm the current status of the refund cheque. I have been endlessly bounced back and forth between AutoNation and Safe-Guard with no resolution in sight. Adding to the frustration are the long wait times to speak to customer service representatives, making this entire process feel exhausting and unprofessional. While I appreciate AutoNation’s sales team, my experience with their finance department has been extremely disappointing. I have already reached out to their finance head Victor and sent emails, but the issue remains unresolved. To all potential AutoNation customers: Please ensure you inquire thoroughly about additional products before signing up. While their sales process may be smooth, my experience with their post-purchase services has been the opposite. If anyone has suggestions or advice on how to escalate this matter further, I’d greatly appreciate it. Sincerely, A Disappointed Customer More
