Just had a HORRIBLE experince at Power Toyota. And we've bought a car from there before, which makes it even more disappointing. What happened to the days when the guys at the car dealership acted like they WANTED to sell you a car? Customer service was awful and so was the offer on our trade-in. Our sales guy acted like he'd already met his quota for the month, and could have cared less about selling a car today. We've been treated better this week by a dealer across the street in Tempe Autoplex and am SURE we will get treated better by a Toyota dealership in another part of town. The customer service was awful. I could not believe the lack of care and concern our sales person showed. He did not seem interested in even attempting to give us a good deal. He didn't even seem to care if he sold a car or not. This was by far the most horrible experience I've ever had at a car dealership. We are previous customers and pre-approved for an auto loan. All these guys had to do was give us a little bit of respect and a decent deal on a car. We sat around waiting for almost an hour before anyone would even discuss the price of the car or our trade-in with us, and then the offer on our trade in was insulting. Inquired about a used car online. Gus Kostopulos called me back in less than 5 minutes. We set up a time to look at the car the next day. He had the car ready to go and let me have a test drive. Already knew something about the car from checking it out online. Gus was very friendly and professional and he never pressured me during the entire process of buying the car. He assisted very well with all the paperwork that was needed to be done and gave me his full time attention. I had my son with me and he was able to see what a car deal should be, not all high pressure sales. We had a very relaxing time of it and were out the lot with the car in a short time. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy a car to contact Gus. After the sale he continued to keep in contact to make sure everything was fine with the car. This was only a used car and when we are ready to purchase another car, new or used, I know who to contact. More
Purchased my car though Costco Buyers Program (this is my second Costco car purchase)so I was familiar with how it was supposed to work. Costco sent me to Power Tempe (after an extremely negative experience at another dealer...)to work with Gus. Gus was just great, a straight talking person who calmly laid out the facts. No surprises from him, no last minute little tricks. I received exactly the trade-in I was expecting (based on Edmunds & Kelley) and paid a fair price for new Prius. After the sale was made, Gus spent a lot of time to help familiarize me to the new features. It wasn't like another dealer I went to years ago where I was handed my key, handed a stuffed animal bull with the salesman looking over my shoulder at his next victim. Ugh, I hated all that. What a world of difference dealing with Gus at Power Tempe! While it has been a few monthssince my purcase, Gus still calls me from time to time, checking to see if all is well with my purchase. Having spent most of career managing a customer service group, I really appreciate real customer service, not slick meaningless marketing BS. Gus truly knows the meaning of customer service. Power Tempe and Toyota should be proud to have him in their organization! More
There is no reason to go to any other Toyota dealer in town. From start to finish I have been treated very well! Friendly staff, from sales to service. I had the nicest experience leasing my Toyota Yaris two weeks ago at Power Toyota. It is my first Toyota and I love it. My last car was old and having lots of problems and I knew I needed a new one but as weeks ago at Power Toyota. It is my first Toyota and I love it. My last car was old and having lots of problems and I knew I needed a new one but as a woman, going to a car dealer has always intimidated and frightened me! My friends and family told me not to go alone :-) ! I did go alone and I was greeted by Saad Thomasian who immediately addressed and understood my car needs and concerns. Saad put me at ease, answered all of my questions and before I knew it I had leased my new Yaris. It was a smooth and seamless experience. I will recommend Power and Mr. Thomasian to anyone and everyone. I feel so "well taken care of" by everyone that I have spoken and dealt with at Power Toyota during this process. Thank you! I ordered a new Scion TC from Joe Johnson about a week before I moved from NY to AZ. I had countless questions along the way, regarding the accessories that were being installed as well as when the car wo before I moved from NY to AZ. I must have called or emailed Joe 15 times in the course of one week. Joe was always super responsive, patient and friendly with me. He even got back to promptly on his days off! He was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, helpful and provided information and pricing. He stayed with us through out the whole process. He even stayed with us after hours to make sure that the paper work was complete, that everything was done on the car, spent time showing us the cars basic functionality, and wanted to make sure that there were no issues before we left for the night on our drive home. Excellent after sales service: Gus continued to follow up many times with us to make sure that we didn't have any issues or questions. He helped with any questions that we did have. He took great care of us and is still taking great care of us. In short I consider the overall experience as a smooth one and great experience. More
