The one individual that made our experience so exceptional was our sales person, Amy Riggs. She was knowledgeable about all the cars we looked at and answered our numerous questions with expertise and patience. She went above and beyond to explain everything regarding the buying process, as well as giving us a detailed explanation of all the particulars of the new hybrid we decided to pursue. Amy streamlined the process for us because she knew we were on time a strict time constraint, and she facilitated the trade in of our old vehicle. We could not have asked for a smoother car buying experience, and we would definitely recommend that anyone looking to buy a Toyota should head over to AutoNation Toyota in Tempe and find Amy Riggs for an amazing experience! Totally dishonest place to buy car from. Unfortunately, my initial experience with AutoNation Toyota Tempe was trending the same way. But it is not how you start it is how you finish, and the team, especially Fabio Ledonne, finished strong. There were issues from the moment we bought the car, and the team at Toyota Tempe, put up with a demanding sometimes irate customer well. It went from hopeless to a great experience when Fabio stepped in. The issue that faced us was a body damage issue from the previous owner. The original dealership did a “Fix” and when it didn’t hold up over the first month, blamed us for the issue. That didn’t sit right with Fabio, he wasn’t discounting what the other store told him, but he also listened and heard the concerns we had as Prius drivers for a number of years. He listened to his gut and went to work finding a solution, and it wasn’t a conventional one. His unconventional solution was one that not only saved the sale, and the relationship with us, but turned me into an advocate for Toyota Tempe. This was a month ago, and I have already pointed 3 different people to Toyota Tempe, specifically telling them to ask for Fabio. Thank you Fabio and the team over at Toyota Tempe. More

So good in fact that I went back and bought a 2019 Tacoma for my son April 2019. Amy Riggs (Internet Sales) is a wonderful person, no pressure. She works hard to find the exact vehicle that you are looking for and delivers on her promises, no games. The Desk Manager that she works with, Mike Farrell is a great guy too. I’ve been buying and selling cars, trucks and motorcycles since the late 70’s. These two are Top Shelf. No one wants a run around or wants to feel that they need to inspect every document for traps. Feel confident when dealing with Amy and Mike, enjoy your new car.... More

Major Let Down I come from a very long line of Toyota drivers and I was so happy to become apart of that legacy. I would never recommend this dealership as it would I come from a very long line of Toyota drivers and I was so happy to become apart of that legacy. I would never recommend this dealership as it would frustrate anyone. Everyone is very friendly, but ultimately that is a part of their job to be customer service oriented. However, as far as holding them accountable to get the loan funded or to get paperwork in on time, be prepared to be delayed. It took an entire month for the finance representative to get my loan funded because he was lazy and careless. This delayed promised funding which the sales manager never bothered himself to follow up with. Emails and voicemails went days without being followed up with and sometimes weren’t returned at all. It is clear that customer service is not a priority to them as they had no urgency in getting anything completed until it came to the last day of the month and they wanted their money from the bank. I would advise to steer clear of this dealership. More
Worst Customer Service Ever They told me I didn't have an appointment when I pulled up, I had to find the email they sent to prove to them I was supposed to be there. The sales rep did not have the $500 they have owed us for almost two months. Then I waited two hours for a 30 minute oil change! It seemed like my car didn't move for about an hour before I got it. Finally after xxxxxxxx a little they said it's almost ready. They then handed me a bill for $107 dollars and I asked why I'm being charged when I have the Prepaid Maintenance Service. They did not have an answer and I had to try and contact several different managers before they finally found the record that I had the service. My center console was open like someone had gone through it. Was late for work because of it and would absolutely never go back here ever again! More
Still Waiting on The Check for My Vehicle BEWARE of doing business with this dealership!! I sold my car to Autonation Toyota Tempe and it's been a full month and I still have not received my BEWARE of doing business with this dealership!! I sold my car to Autonation Toyota Tempe and it's been a full month and I still have not received my check!! It is unreal and unacceptable. I've spent hours on the phone with them and playing phone tag when the line suddenly drops. Apparently their accounting group does not take phone calls and no one in the whole dealership is capable of talking to someone who can a write a check to customer for a car they bought and have title to. I'm seriously thinking I need to pursue legal action at this point which is unfortunate for all. Don't believe their high and mighty claim that since they are big publicly traded company that do business above board. No publicly traded company could possibly be this poorly run that they can't cut a check for over 30 days. Truly unbelievable. Think again before heading to Autonation Toyota Tempe! More
Get's irrate when you dont rate them 5 Stars Nov 15th 2018, I purchased a 2019 Corolla CASH for my Daughters 16th birthday. During the sale process I asked that a dash mat and the door guards be Nov 15th 2018, I purchased a 2019 Corolla CASH for my Daughters 16th birthday. During the sale process I asked that a dash mat and the door guards be installed. When I asked for the door guards I specifically ran my hand horizontally across the door showing them what I wanted and the Salesman replied with a " That's included and they will be installed before you leave". There was a car on the lot marked down to $15,995 but it was not really the color I wanted so I asked them to give me the white car with 10 more miles on it for the same price. I was told no that" Toyota specified this VIN number only to be marked down" Eventually I decided to go with the originally marked down car. The sales process all in all was typical of any car sales experience. The finance guy obviously tried to sell me on all the extra's which I have never purchased. Fast forward, When I got home I realized they did not in fact install the door guards as requested, I called the Salesman the next day and his explanation of a door guard was different then mine. We worked that out and I was told that he would order the parts on Monday when the parts dept opened and call me to confirm. November 23rd I had not received any calls from the dealer, salesman, nobody... November 24th I received a request to review the Dealership from Toyota. Overall I rated the facilities a 7 out of 10, Sales experience I believe was a 5 or 6 as I found all to be average and nothing with the wow factor to deserve a 10. Nov 26th I received a call from the Sales Manager "Jesse". After I explained to him I was promised a phone call back and the door guards (which they call door molding trim) but have not heard back from anyone he became very belligerent towards me and says " You gave us a review not we can not recover from with Toyota". Excuse me, I gave an honest review and feedback with an average rating. Jesse told me if he knew I was not going to give them all 10's he would " Not have allowed the sale to go through and would rather lose the sale then get a bad review " After a lengthy conversation with Jesse and him referring to me as a horrible customer and someone who could probably " never be satisfied with anything" I asked to speak to the General Manager", Of course he was not available so I requested a call back. We are now 10 days later and I have not received a call. I have made 3 calls to the dealership to speak with the GM and he has not returned any calls and I still do not have what was promised to me and was in the written contract . They are more concerned about you giving them a fake review then actually fulfilling their promises and customer retention. More
