I traded in my fully functional 2013 Nissan Rogue for a just $3000, despite having received a superior offer of $4500 just the day before from Courtesy Nissan of Tampa following their inspection. While I am satisfied with my new car, a lingering sense of regret persists, considering the missed opportunity for a better deal on my old car. One motivation for choosing Auto Nation was the positive experience a friend had recently, securing a better loan interest rate. However, when I inquired, I was informed that the favorable rate was only applicable to 2023 cars, and I ended up with a 6.74% interest rate matching with DCU. Adding to the discontent, a day after the purchase, a friend brought up "Toyota Guard," a detail that was never mentioned by anyone at the dealership. In summary, my experience involved receiving a subpar trade-in value, missing out on significant discounts, and feeling manipulated into a rushed decision.
