I had my 1year service done on my lease. No sticker about my next service ( oil change). My last dealership used to wash my car and when returned I had a clean car. No sticker about my next service ( oil change). My last dealership used to wash my car and when returned I had a clean car. More

In the beginning the whole situation was great, the service manager helping me was really nice and let me know what was going on. The price was pretty crazy for what needed to be done but I pulled stri service manager helping me was really nice and let me know what was going on. The price was pretty crazy for what needed to be done but I pulled strings I didn’t want to pull to make what I needed happen. I was quoted around $1750 after tax by my service manager to pay for the repairs on my car, I managed to get the money via a loan after being on and off the phone all day. Interest rate was very high, but I was committed to getting my car fixed. On Thursday I got a phone call from the service manager handling my car that the quote was wrong and the “computer messed up” and the part pricing was missing from my quote and with the pricing of parts, I was looking at an extra $800-$1000 on top of what I already had to pay. When I expressed my concern regarding the money, I was told there was nothing they could do about it and it was the computer error. I feel I should not have had to be penalized and forced to pay the full amount for a computer error. They were not willing to discount anything and my service manager said “Even if you speak to another manager, they will tell you the same thing”. Which was very off putting. I’m 25 and live almost paycheck to paycheck. $1000 may not seem like much to them, but it’s a lot to me. All in all, I had to pay for my car to get towed AGAIN to another shop for the repairs. The other shop is willing to fix my car for less than half of what Toyota was offering. Will not be back for any service reasons. More
Used Car Buyers Beware of AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park. Sales people will make false promises to get you to agree on a deal for the vehicle you’re interested on. Then you will be turned over to spe Park. Sales people will make false promises to get you to agree on a deal for the vehicle you’re interested on. Then you will be turned over to speak to the famous sales manager who will also tell you what you want to hear and offer you additional coverage in the form of service agreements. Which for peace of mind I purchased… first night with my new purchase I had issues with the headlights, got a warning message asking me to visit the closest dealership. Interesting enough, the vehicle was supposed to have gone through a multiple point inspection prior to my purchase, yet they had to replace a whole headlight assembly (?). The cosmetic repairs the sales person Jesus offers were either not done or half done. I agreed to the purchase based on that discussion and even gave a deposit and title to my trade in (all in good faith, but I should have known better). The sales manager Mohamed (goes by Simo) who sold me and insisted on me purchasing a tire/wheel service agreement said the tires and wheels would be fixed if damaged, scratched, nails, etc. I agreed to it… accidentally scratched a wheel while parking a couple of days later. Took the car to the dealer and was told nothing could be done because the damage is only cosmetic (?), that the wheel would have to be bent or broken for them to be able to do anything about it. This was a Saturday, talked to Simo and he said give me until Monday and I’ll take care of it… well, it has been days and no follow up. I have left voice mails and sent him emails and have yet to receive even an acknowledgement. In addition, I was given a temporary plate because on the weekend I made the purchase they were having issues with the system… I have one more week with my temporary plate and all they can say is wait for the new registration in the mail. I am extremely disappointed with the service (not) received after I signed all the paperwork for the purchase of my vehicle. Classic scenario of being professional and responsive up until you sign on the dotted line, after that the whole experience changes and not for the best. I live an hour away and it’s not easy to stop by anytime. You call, get transferred all over the place and if you are not buying a vehicle, nobody follows up with you. What is going on AutoNation, are you guys all about selling vehicles and leaving your customers high and dry after their purchase??? I would expect that from a small used car dealer, but not a franchise as big as you are. Buyers beware… More
AutoNation forces add-ons down your throat because they are "on the vehicle" and they are on every vehicle. I was also told by the finance person that I could not buy an extended warranty after the sale, s are "on the vehicle" and they are on every vehicle. I was also told by the finance person that I could not buy an extended warranty after the sale, so even though I had a feeling it was extremely high and was on the fence, I bought it. This is NOT true at all!!!! Make sure you shop around before buying if you want an extended warranty. Now I want to cancel after thinking about it, and they no longer want to deal with you at the dealership. AutoNation forces you to call a number, which the hold time is at least 30 minutes or if you leave your number which is an option, they never call back. I tried both. I even sent an email as instructed , but no response in the timeframe they say they will get back to you in. When someone finally emailed me back, they told me my deal hasn't been uploaded yet and I'd have to wait. I only get a full refund if I cancel in 30 days, is the game to prolong the cancellation so that they still get some money out of me? After another week, I received the cancellation form and sent it back. We will see how long it takes to actually get the money credited. I hardly ever write a negative review, but this is absolutely ridiculous! I am glad I turned down all the other overpriced crap they tried to sell me, like oil changes which worked out to a couple hundred dollars a piece and overpriced tire protection. To be fair, the car buying and negotiating (even though they "don't negotiate") part was pleasant and the sales person was nice. But after the sale, it really seems like they couldn't care less. More
