Every time I come here for a simple oil change - will it be 45 minutes? Or will it be 5 hours? Apparently it's impossible to know, even when you've scheduled an appointment in advance. A half hour prior to my service, I received a phone call "about my service appointment," but they were just trying to sell me a new car. While waiting for my service advisor, a glass technician came by to tell me I needed my windshield replaced. When I told him not today, HIS MANAGER came over to inspect the glass on my car and also had to tell HIM not today. Six different people came to my car asking similar questions. It took them 5hrs to complete an oil change and a recall issue with the battery for which I had an appointment set up weeks in advance, and at about hour 3 they suggested $3K in repairs via text message. When attempting to communicate with my service advisor via text, I received no response. I called and went to his voicemail. I called the service department who told me I should contact my service advisor. I told them I had tried with no luck. They said they would transfer me right to him - and I got his voicemail. This is just one of my many, many terrible experiences with Autonation Toyota. I dread every appointment I make here and have started to bring my business elsewhere, where I feel more like a human and less like some kind of endless money machine for their salespeople to prey on (spoiler alert - I do not have endless money and ended up getting their suggested repairs elsewhere for 50% less). I love my Toyota but HATE this dealership. Oof. More
I recently brought my car in for a battery replacement, and I had a fantastic experience thanks to Austin in the service department. I was in a tight spot financially, helping a family member, and every do and I had a fantastic experience thanks to Austin in the service department. I was in a tight spot financially, helping a family member, and every dollar mattered. Austin went above and beyond he spoke with the manager to lower the cost, continued looking into options when the answer wasn’t clear, and ultimately was able to reduce my total. He was also very patient with me. I was stressed and had several different questions, but he never rushed me and made sure I understood everything. Austin arranged a courtesy ride while my car was being serviced and made sure I had a ride back. He kept me updated throughout the process and treated me with genuine care and respect. Employees like Austin make a real difference his kindness, patience, and effort turned a stressful situation into a truly positive experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More
