I went into Auto Nation Toyota on the instinct of just to look around for a car. I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle. Horrible Service Experience! !!! I emailed the General Manager (Chafik Amrani) previously but they never replied. I brought my 2024 Tacoma in for 2 recalls on 11/24/2025. The next !!! I emailed the General Manager (Chafik Amrani) previously but they never replied. I brought my 2024 Tacoma in for 2 recalls on 11/24/2025. The next day my girlfriend drove to Tampa. On her return trip she noticed the brakes were not responding as normal. A few minutes later a warning light came on stating "low break pressure". I called the service department and reported the warning light. I was told that " I needed to bring in the truck so it can be looked at". When I brought the truck in I had to push the break pedal to the floor just to stop. I was advised by a technician and the service manager "Chad" (I think that is his name) that when the recalled soft brake line was replaced the hard break line was cracked. The truck was unsafe to drive. I was leaving for Georgia early the next day. The truck is our only vehicle. I was given a loaner but I was told by "Rocky" that rentals can not be driven out of state. I had to cancel our Thanksgiving plans. On Wednesday morning I was notified the truck was fixed. I was told that this time a Master mechanic worked on my truck and the issue was the soft break line was either installed incorrectly or it was faulty. I had asked to have my truck on a lift so I could make sure all of the break fluid was cleaned off. "Chad" stated that I would be able to look underneath the truck. When I got there my truck was just driven out. When I asked about looking underneath the truck Chad instructed me to get down on the floor and I can see underneath. He did offer to put it on a lift but I had wasted enough time at your dealership. The fact that they have unqualified technicians working for them is the reason I will never buy, sell, or have my truck serviced at Auto Nation Pinellas Park. They had many chances to correct this but I was repeatedly just told "we are sorry". More
