Outstanding work by their mechanic/technician (Pablo L & Luis S) in trouble shooting what's wrong with my hybrid Prius stalling second time on the freeway I-45N during rush hour, after getting a clean bill Luis S) in trouble shooting what's wrong with my hybrid Prius stalling second time on the freeway I-45N during rush hour, after getting a clean bill of health 2 days earlier from Toyota Galveston on its first stall! Good thinking outside the box to take the car home to see the real cause & it was the fuel pump, etc. Expensive repair but worth my safety & others on the road/freeway; drove it safely home to New Braunfels, so far so good. If you're not too far from us I would trade it in in 6-12 months for a new medium blue standard RAV, if you have it. More
Recent servicing to replace hose lines lead to about $900+ in damage (500-ish in parts, & 400-ish in labor) because the system was not bled correctly, leaving air in the lines which damaged the main pum $900+ in damage (500-ish in parts, & 400-ish in labor) because the system was not bled correctly, leaving air in the lines which damaged the main pump. I know this from the noise the system generated immediately after I picked it up (though I did not know at the time it was something serious), from the service department not ever mentioning the pump needed replacement at any point while they were replacing the connecting hoses, from my own research, and finally from having other mechanics look at the issue & telling them the circumstances. I was told they would cover the labor, but I would need to buy the part. I have submitted a claim to the company's corporate website, but have not heard any reply yet. Who knows if something might come of it, but will continue to hope. I have also experienced inconsistent or delayed communication during servicing, such as dropping off vehicle at service center opening (7am) & not hearing more on vehicle status until near closing (5pm) or not receiving replies even when I call or text (even after several hours). Other issues with not having functioning replacement parts causing delays & similar problems have also come up. Everything seems overpriced too, but that may be just how things are now. Service manager is always friendly and apologetic, & other staff are always friendly. While this location seems to have decent customer service, I question their technical capacity. Going forward, will not be bringing my vehicle back to this location or purchasing a vehicle through them as I would not feel strongly that it will be in a good functional state. More

Contacted other Toyota Dealers in the area. They were the first to come up with the car I wanted. Things went smoothly, and now I own a Toyota. They were the first to come up with the car I wanted. Things went smoothly, and now I own a Toyota. More
