I came in looking for a 4Runner TRD OFF ROAD. Eduardo and James Yates provided awesome customer experience. I was totally satisfied and will recommend them to all my friends and family. It’s already scary enough to visit a maintenance dealer and when you get an estimate on your maintenance to be over 1,200 dollars is terrifying. Not even a proper explanation of what these “maintenance services mean”. And when I got my car serviced the “maintenance alert” wasn’t removed, nor was I suggested maintenance needed for my car. They just give you a piece of paper with a vocabulary you’re not used too and send you a picture of a random filter and you’re sent off. More
Maybe my experience will prevent people from going here and working with Ricardo Acuna (salesman) Thomas Cruz (Manager) and Nicholas (don't know his last name/another manager I believe) Absolute JOKE of a and working with Ricardo Acuna (salesman) Thomas Cruz (Manager) and Nicholas (don't know his last name/another manager I believe) Absolute JOKE of a dealership. Easily the WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND doing business here! I was going back and forth with salesperson Ricardo Acuna for about a week regarding purchasing a new Tacoma. I was told prior to coming in that I could use VSPP which is a discount program through my dad who's a Toyota retiree. I was later told, that they no longer would honor it, until they got a few more Tacoma's in. So you tell a customer yes, then you change your mind. Not cool! I understand the market right now, and that inventory levels are still low. Since they did have a few Tacoma's in stock, while other dealerships around me didn't, I decided to come in at 9am anyway on 3/10/23 to lease the Tacoma. This is where the fun really began. I arrive to meet Ricardo, and he shows me the truck which was right outside the showroom. It was the exact color I wanted (magnetic grey) and even had some black TRD wheels on it, which was awesome! Excited as can be, I wanted to get right to it and buy this truck. We sit down, and they show me the lease numbers which were over $100 more than the lease pricing sheet I received through text a day or two prior. They explained that the pricing shown initially through text was for Tier 1 credit. Um.... As they can see, I had tier 1 credit when they ran my credit report. I was still led to believe I was getting such a great deal. They tried to tell me that my $1300 negative equity on my trade in all of a sudden equates to over $100 more a month than what I was shown. Made zero sense. But they had the leverage. Told me on more than one occasion, "Sorry, you can sell your car elsewhere" and "Take the deal or not there're other dealerships you can go to" So we kept negotiating and eventually got to a point where it somewhat made sense to me to make the deal. We shake hands and agree on a deal. I'm then shortly after approached by a Nicholas and was told, "Hey the wheels that are on there aren't supposed to be included, we're going to have to take them off" Wait what?!! So your error, but I'm getting penalized for it? Then, they supposedly couldn't take the wheels off as they were missing a tool. Which was a lie. As I gathered more info, I realized the truck had black TRD wheels AND a trd lift kit that they were trying to charge more for. So as they scrambled, I was told they could get me the same truck with the same color from another dealership... Keep in mind I've been here for several hours already and it was raining all day. They wanted to swap the truck because the truck didn't reflect the price for the customization it had done to it. So they would've had to remove all of it, before selling it to me and had to find a substitute instead. For me, it's the principal, I walked up to this truck seeing what I was buying, Ricardo even showed me identical Tacoma's that also had this lift kit and wheels that had the markup. Someone didn't do there job. Nicholas instead poorly explained why I couldn't have the truck that we already agreed to with those items on it. So as the customer I think I'm buying a certain Tacoma, yet was told after the deal was made, that I now couldn't buy it. Anyway, both managers Thomas and Nicholas come off as condescending. Clearly this dealership is run by poor leadership. Anyway, They found me a similar one at Huntington Beach Toyota. Ricardo himself had to go pick it up. It took over 2 hours for him to obtain the truck. Fast forward, I finally get out of financing around 7pm. Then was told the truck didn't have gas, so my salesman Ricardo had to go with Nicholas to fill up the truck. The gas station is a block or two away yet took almost half an hour for them to return. I've already been gone from my family for the entire day. I reiterated that I want More

As a female, I have previously been nervous car shopping, but the staff here made me feel so comfortable and secure in my experience and choice of car. Specifically Mark Bell and Ray B. were so helpful, they answered all of my many questions, were very honest, I got a great deal on a Toyota Corolla Cross and the process was fast, easy, and actually fun! I recommend AutoNation Cerritos to all of my friends and family. More
