We have built our Highlander Hybrid Online so we already made our due diligence on the car of our choice. The Online Manager-Adrian Camacho on my impression at first probably thought we were just trying him made our due diligence on the car of our choice. However when we told him we were serious buyers he probably turned skeptical and kept leading us on what the dealership had on their inventory. Anyway, since both my husband and I work and are busy, we were able to make it to the dealership at about 7:30p.m. Test drove the Highlander Hybrid around the dealership,Adrian C. showed the paperwork for the numbers and finally forwarded to Finance. We waited for another 45 mins. Then finally Mr. Faiz led us to his office to finalize the transaction. We left the dealership around 10:30 p.m. Overall about 3-31/2 hours to complete the transaction. We still have 2 un-served details needed done-Cat Converter Lock Guard and the Ultimate Ceramic Coating . We were dissatisfied with the turn around as Service left a message to schedule the service , in return we called and no answer so left message the same day saying our intent on the next day. My husband and I had to exchange cars and modified schedules for work-we never even got a call back from certain Linda Martinez whom we left several messages for the appointment! Very frustrating!!! We will never have our regular service to this dealership! Nevertheless, since Adrian Camacho is very attentive and personable I still rate the dealership 3 stars but not on follow through service of undelivered items with the contract!!!! More

Unfortunately, my oil change service was incomplete and I did not want to move forward in having it completed on Saturday, 6/3/2023 after all. We had a 7:40am scheduled oil change service appointment and did not want to move forward in having it completed on Saturday, 6/3/2023 after all. We had a 7:40am scheduled oil change service appointment and arrived at service at 7:30am. My service advisor was supposedly Nathalie Mendez, but Paul insisted on assisting us. Near two hours of waiting, we noticed our vehicle was still sitting at the outside corner. My son and I then approached Paul and asked him, “why is my car still outside when my appointment was at 7:40am and the time was already 9:15am?” His first response and impression was, “ummm I helped you?,” along with a confused look on his face. He then looked through his papers and stated to us, “I have you pull in for 9:15am - 9:30am.” I then said, “what is the point of my appointment at 7:40am when your telling me my car is scheduled to go in at 9:15am - 9:30am?” Then he goes on saying, “it’s a Saturday and it’s always the busiest. We’re the biggest service and dealership here,” (which I believe that statement was irrelevant). He kept going on and on to the point where I was trying to get my words in so that I could get some understanding and clarification, but he kept talking over me, which was very frustrating, rude and no customer service at all. So then I decided to get my keys back and leave without my service being completed. If I had waited at 9:15am - 9:30am to have my vehicle finally pull in, I would have been there for another two hours or so and would’ve left there about 11:30am - 12:00pm. That did not make sense to me! And if that’s the case, the efficiency and system of cars going in and out doesn’t make any sense of setting an appointment in the first place. We all know Saturday’s are always the busiest and that’s why we always make an appointment whether it’s a weekday or weekend instead of walking in. But never once at any other dealership service nor in the past with Toyota of Cerritos have we experienced a wait time of 3-5 hours for an oil change (with an appointment). This comes to us at a surprise because Toyota of Cerritos is usually our go-to for an oil change or car purchase. We had an outstanding, customer friendly service with Nathalie Mendez the last time we were there which made us want to return. Unfortunately, Paul’s customer service has really made a bad impression on himself and Toyota of Cerritos, which will prevent us from returning. More
