My service writer Anthony was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and above all, honest. I thanked him for his up front approach and rewarded him with a gift card when I returned to pick up the vehicle and pay the invoice. The vehicle was ready with no delays beyond estimated time needed for services rendered. I paid the invoice and drove the vehicle home. I notice the engine sounded a bit throatier than usual. When arrive at my residence I opened the hood to see if I could see anything obvious and found the top of air cleaner box was left unsecured allowing the engine to ingest air without running the air filter media. I left the condition as I found it and drove the mile back to the Toyota service port to show Anthony my finding. I reminded Anthony this was no way his fault and I could have easily taken care of the concern my but I wanted a Toyota representative to see what was left undone. Although a small error l, this could destroy and engine if not caught in time and driven through a course environment. I will be crawling around the car this weekend to ensure other obvious items have been secured property. If I have any questions I will be bring the vehicle back to have questions addressed. I just wanted to share my first experience with Certitos Toyota. I will be sure to have the hood popped open if I come back as a return costumer.
