Avoid these guys. I bought a car with the State's Clean Vehicle Assistant program 6 weeks ago. The way this works is that the state pays $5000 towards the purchase of a full electric vehicle after an approval process (I had all the paperwork) and you pay the rest. The dealer keeps the vehicle until the payment from the state comes in. The finance manager said this usually takes 10-14 days. The sales guy said he would be in touch and provide updates once a week or so. That is the last I ever heard from them. After about a month I started emailing and calling to find out what is going on and their tone had changed to a "don't call us, we'll call you" routine. Yesterday, I receive a check for a (small) part of what I paid with the check stating for unraveling deal #xyz. No explanation, no letter, no phone call. I get it that the state's programs may not work as usual during Covid times, but the least I would expect is for them to let the customer know and reimburse all the money without me having to get on their case. i bought a used car at autonation cerritos 3 months ago and the finance guy added a maintenance plan, a tire protection plan and a vehicle protection plan. i returned to the dealer a week later and reques and the finance guy added a maintenance plan, a tire protection plan and a vehicle protection plan. i returned to the dealer a week later and requested to cancel the tire and vehicle protection plan. they said paperwork was sent to home office already so they would send the cancel request and it could take 4 weeks. after waiting i tried calling but i always get voicemail and no returned call. the only way I get updates is to make a big stink, like emailing the sales guy. well it turns out they say they sent refund check to the wrong lender, us bank instead of toyota financial. so as you can see they are quite inept. the last update I got is they cancelled the wrongly sent refund and have sent a new check to my current lender but only $340. this must only be the tire protection package because the warranty was much much more. this whole thing has dragged on way too long. i have been wanting to refi with my credit union while rates are favorable and want the principle to not reflect the added warranty. My wife and I got a bran new 2021 Toyota highlander hybrid PLATINUM edition. Our sale rep was Jason Nguyen, he was amazing. Took really good care of us. Worked with us through the process and guide hybrid PLATINUM edition. Our sale rep was Jason Nguyen, he was amazing. Took really good care of us. Worked with us through the process and guided us on what we needed to have prepared for when we picked up the car. He was so nice that he was able to put the car on hold for 3 days for us. So we could organize our finances. After we got the car and test drove it and bought it, he went over all the fine details in the car on what each button does. We were so amazed how many buttons were in the car and what each one did. But I was more impressed is how he took the time to go over it all with us. Even though it was getting late, and the dealership was closing up. If you need to get a car, go see Jason Nguyen he is the best. Tell him Rabbit sent ya. More

I should have received the license plates in January (before the impact of COVID-19). The temporary registration expired in March (vehicle is now citable). I have called the dealership (per DMV instructions) numerous times over the past month, and have been transferred from person to person and nameless voicemail to nameless voicemail. It was dark and I did not see there was a split seam in thye bottom cushion of the driver's seat and the driver's door window gasket had been damege. It was repaired insteaqd of being replaced. This dealership has a 5 day 250 mile reurn policy. I called the sale person I had bought the vehicle from and he said it was a used vehicle???. I ssk if they would repair the defect and again I was told it was a used vehicle. I asked how to return it under the policy and was told I would have to return it when the vehicle purchaing manager was there. I asked if he was there and was told no. I asked this person to make me an appointment for thye next day. When I did not get a call, I called and was told this person would not be in for a day or two. I asked who else could take the vehicle back and was told him only. I called thye sale manager and he said bring it back and any manager on the floor could receive it. I took it back and was told it could take up to 10 working days to get my refund. 10 days came and went and when it got to a month I called and was told they could make a check out and i could pick it up the. This was a Friday, I live 20 plus miles from the deallership and asked that they overnight the check. This was done only after I incised. If it were not for one person at this dealership I would rate it with a minus number More
they'll find one way or another to get you I went back to this dealership to purchase my lease, instead of listening to everyone else and simply go through my credit union . I was given a quote I went back to this dealership to purchase my lease, instead of listening to everyone else and simply go through my credit union . I was given a quote by Bryan Gonzales and also from Joshua, I was told I'd have to pay $495 in "inspection fees" even though I planned to keep the leased vehicle. I was told by them and Toyota Financial services that they were required to inspect the car before selling it back to me, although I've been the one driving it 3 years. Ok, so the inspection is over and I'm told there is a recall for airbags but "we don't have a solution to that recall yet". Basically, let me drive off the lot without so much as scheduled appointment for the actual recall. Of course, they wanted to get me in to change my break pads but no more mention of the recall. I was also misled by the sales manager trying to sell me over $5k worth of extra things that I later found out wouldn't even cover what I needed. Thankfully I was able to cancel those and have my payment lowered to the original amount not after having to drive back to the dealership a couple of times. Not to mention all that charm and customer service we received originally was no longer there. I come to find out this "inspection fee" was extremely overpriced . Since they couldn't get me on the registration fees, or their bs warranties, they were at least able to get those $495 out of me. Please be aware of this place, for 720 credit score having a 5.99% apr is ridiculous, they also had the wrong payout price. I not only showed them emails from their own sales rep, but also an encrypted letter that Toyota financial services sent me with the price being $100 less. I caught them in so many lies that their own Finance manager (Mahir Trnjanin) realized. I was able to show emails of their rep Jordan Bagaporo telling me I could go in to cancel my warranties in person that night but was, in fact, wrong. Total waste of time, I hope other people become more educated and stop letting themselves be taken advantage of. More
What is the point of making a service appointment here? Really? Seriously a 2.5 hour wait for a basic 1st 5000 mile check up. The point of an appointment is to be able to drive in and be out fast.
