Refinanced my FJ,which I bought new from Go. Got the extended warranty with "free" oil chsanges and rotations. The bottom line: If you buy a car from these people you don't want to deal with their service department. Their customer service needs a lot of improvement. When I first bought the car I went there for an oil change and was told it would be maybe a couple hours, so I didn't bother going back for such a small maintenance duty. I went other places because who wants to sit around for two hours for such a minor bit of maintenance. When I refinanced and was sold on the extended warranty, I was assured that I would be in and out with an oil change and rotation in 45 min to an hour. "Guaranteed" was the term used as I remember. Called the other day to get my fj in for an oil change and was told it would be a two hour wait. So I made an APPOINTMENT for later in the week and was told 45 min to an hour. Pulled up this morning and there was a line there about ten to 15 cars deep. When I asked some kid that worked there where I should go for an oil change and a tire rotation when you have an APPOINTMENT the pointed to the back of the line and said "there". Not having two hours to wait around to get minor maintenance done to my car I left and will continue to go back to where I had always gotten these things done in 45 minutes. Bottom line, even though I like the vehicle, after dealing with Toyota for the last five years I will never buy another Toyota. They act like they're doing you a favor or something. And who needs the headaches just for an oil change. More
TERRIBLE customer service!!! They made my pregnant wife walk to the back lot to pick up the car instead of bringing it out like they did for others. I arrived at the dealership after having done my research on prices, for both the purchase and trade-in. I was already pretty sure what vehicle I wanted, but Kenny was very helpful and answered all my questions and provided even more useful info. This purchase did not take hours of frustrating bartering. More

They never would give me a bottom line price on the new Tacoma I wanted. They tried to keep me from leaving after several hours by saying "if we can give you a good price, will you stick around and make the sale today?" but they never gave me the "good deal". I know this because I knew what my trade in was worth and I knew what invoice was on the truck I wanted. They kept calling trying to get me to come back in and make a deal in person, but I told them what I wanted for my trade in and to give me a fair price on the truck over the phone since I had already spent several hours there before. They never did. The manager twice called and asked what the hold up was on a deal, and said he would see what he could do and call me back with the info, of course I never got the "deal". Very high pressure sales. I had spent many hours of research and knew what a fair deal was, and knew I was't going to get it here. In just a few hours over the internet, phone, and in person, I was able to get an awesome deal at a Toyota dealer in Colorado Springs for not only the exact Tacoma I wanted, but for my trade in without any of the hassle. Hopefully I will have a better experience with the service department when I bring my Tacoma in for its first service. Keeping my fingers crossed, I'll let you know. More

Recently my mother and I went to GO Toyota to purchase a new vehicle for my mother. This is her first NEW car purchase in more than 30 years. The vehicle she owned for almost two decades suddenly stopped new vehicle for my mother. This is her first NEW car purchase in more than 30 years. The vehicle she owned for almost two decades suddenly stopped working and it was not worth fixing. I have been a loyal Toyota consumer for years; I have owned three Toyota Trucks, and suggested my mother look at a few Toyota models as she searched for her new vehicle. Our search for the right car at the right price took us to GO Toyota first. We drove around the lot and found three vehicles we were interested in. We contacted a sales associate, Samuel (unknown last name), who set us up with a test drive. At first, Samuel was very nice. He answered our questions for the most part. I could tell he was a newer sales person; he did not appear to be as confident in his knowledge as someone who had been doing it for a longer period of time. A second associate, Jerry Davis, came to assist with the Prius we were looking at. Apparently Samuel had an appointment arrive. From this moment on, the contact went sour. Immediately I got the feeling Jerry was not interested in helping us. Even though he showed us the car and answered some questions we had, he was very short and covered the information very quickly. My mother is 65 years old and is not as knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the Prius. However, she was interested in it because of the fuel efficiency and earth friendly features. We explained what style of vehicle my mother wanted and why. It was as simple as a hatchback with good fuel economy. Jerry quickly finished showing the Prius, and then moved on to a used Toyota Rav 4 sport edition. He said it was new to the lot and lots of features. He showed the vehicle, and then allowed a test drive. After the test drive, we explained we wanted to run some numbers about the Rav 4 and the Prius. When we got back to the dealer, Jerry pulled some numbers for the Rav 4, but never the Prius. He kept telling us he really liked the Rav 4, it was his favorite vehicle. He ran one set of numbers and quickly wanted to finish the deal. The payment option he gave was nowhere near what my mother's budget would allow. He was told what she could pay now and each month. When he was questioned about the discrepancy, he started playing games with the numbers. He wrote down on the piece of paper that he could get her $300 a month for 60 months at 2.9% interest. When we asked how, he kept changing numbers and asking for the sale. We, also, had already told him we were shopping and were not going to make any deal until we had compared vehicles and price at other locations. We spent a lot of time going back and forth with him about the numbers he was throwing down with no apparent conformation or reliability. When he was asked to bring a hard set of numbers that could be evaluated, he brought back a monthly rate much higher, almost $200 higher, than what he wrote down on the paper. When asked why the numbers changed, Jerry started writing more numbers down and circling things. Nothing he said or wrote down explained why the numbers were different and why he said he could provide a payment plan and rate, when the computer was not showing it. I had to start doing my own calculations based on the price of the vehicle to show what the numbers would look like for the Rav 4. He kept coming and going bringing papers back with monthly payments that were not what we needed. When we initially started talking to Jerry, we said we wanted to see information about both cars. He never once pulled any numbers for the Prius; he didn't even try to fake numbers for it. It became very clear to me that he was not interested in selling us the Prius; he wanted to sell the Rav 4! He said over and over again it was his favorite car, he liked the features, and it would not stay on the lot long because it is a special sport edition. It was obvious to me he was trying to sell a more expensive car so that he would make a larger commission. It also became very clear he was in a hurry and wanted us to sign on the dotted line in as little time as possible. When we continued to push the issue of price, we were handed off again. Jerry passed us back to Samuel and now a sales manager. She told us she had older cars that would fit in out price range. Again, nothing was ever provided to us about the Prius. We were not very interested in an older car, but were willing to consider it if it was the only option we could afford. We examined the 08' model Highlander and took a test drive. Quite frankly, the vehicle was not in very good condition. After spending too many hours at this dealership and dealing with too many people, we were VERY frustrated and just wanted to get out of there without any further aggravation. After we left and the day went on, thought more about that experience. I realized I should have driven the extra distance and started our search at a dealership I was familiar with, first. The next day, we both went to another dealership and spoke with ONE sales associate, who was leaps and bounds more informative, polite, patient and willing to take the time needed to HELP us find a car my mother liked and could afford! I realize car sales is about making money; however, this associate and his management, were more than willing to make the adjustments we needed to the car we decided on as well as provide us with multiple financial options to get the payments we needed. In the end, we gave our business to this other dealership! We are HIGHLY satisfied and will refer this company to our friends and family! As well as, we will never bring any business to GO Toyota, or any other GO dealership for that matter! Not even for the Toyota Cares maintenance. I have spent many years in the retail environment, as has my mother. We understand business is about making money. However, we also understand that return and referral customers are the best customers to have; because they are more likely to spend more money over time. When a company, of any type, treats their customers as we were treated at GO Toyota, the word of mouth affect can be detrimental, especially today with all the social media outlets. More
Mr. Davis was extremely knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions in regard to the functionality of the RAV4. He was a great salesman, low prssure, but very convincing in proving the quality of all of our questions in regard to the functionality of the RAV4. High pressure, in your face sales. This dealership uses all of the old school tactics. This was a horrible experience. I wouldn't wish this on my own worst enemies. I was able to to get a better deal at all of the old school tactics. This was a horrible experience. I wouldn't wish this on my own worst enemies. I was able to to get a better deal at Stevinsons Toyota and was treated with respect. The sales manager was extremely rude and I was lied to my face multiple time.
