I recently brought my car in because the maintenance light was on and the lights in my visors weren’t working. When I checked in, I was informed there was a recall on my car and that it was due for 30,0 light was on and the lights in my visors weren’t working. When I checked in, I was informed there was a recall on my car and that it was due for 30,000-mile maintenance. Armando printed out a list of items that would need to be checked for the service and wrote $320 on it, which I assumed was the total cost. It seemed a bit pricey, but I agreed since it needed to be done. However, when I went to pick up my car, I was shocked to receive an invoice for over $700. At no point was I given a call or asked to approve any additional charges or fees. This was more than double what I expected based on the initial estimate. While the work may have been necessary, the lack of clear communication and transparency about the actual cost was very disappointing. I wish the pricing had been explained upfront so I could make an informed decision. More
