This review is hard for me to write because I love Subarus and have always been pleased with the customer service. However, my most recent experience was not the case. My interaction with the sales people at this Subaru dealership prior to purchase was very good - sales people were knowledgeable and responsive. Post sale experience was quite different and very frustrating. The lack of response in any timely fashion was nonexistent. The day after purchase I was reviewing the document of sale and noticed there were two separate overcharges totaling in the neighborhood of $4500! To be fair, I had signed that document the day before... but after waiting 3 1/2 hrs to be seen by their financial person to sign the final documents, I assumed that what we had discussed regarding price was what was represented. The actual price of the car was correct, but there were two additional charges...one which no one had ever discussed with us and another which had been discussed but at a significantly lower price. As I said the two of these items totaled around $4500. I called that day to have their financial person remove the charges. The financial person was not available so I left a detailed message, requesting a callback that day. None came. I called back numerous times the following two days and no one was ever available to speak to me and I left detailed messages each time. Day four I called and simply said I was not getting off the line until I spoke to their Director of Finance. He was on another line and I was promised I would be his very next call. He did call me back and resolved the overcharge, but this took 4 days of calling without one call back to me. That is very poor and unacceptable customer service. More
