This was my first visit to Subaru Auto in Golden, CO. I waited as the service was a routine 6-month oil change and tire check. The waiting room was very pleasant and provided coffee and refreshments. AutoNation Subaru West fumbled the ball pretty badly after I bought an Outback from them about a month ago. Two things. 1) I discovered a crack in the windshield a day after the puchase. Given how much they warned us about how much Subaru windshields in particular are during the sales process (and up-sold us on the extra protection), I asked if there was anything they could do to help out (this was during the 5-day money back guarantee period FWIW). The salesperson - Jonathan Knutsen - TOTALLY GHOSTED us about it despite trying to reach him multiple times, even after promising he'd talk to his sales manager about it.... 2) They didn't bother sending in the title paperwork to the DMV until A MONTH AND A HALF after we bought the car. We'll never get plates in time before the temporary tags expire because they sat on it for so long. Of course, what do they care - it's our problem to deal with now... I thought everything went pretty well through the sales process. It's a bummer that they blew it afterward. More
