My experience would indicate that Brian Murphy is not a man of his word. He exemplifies everything bad that you hear about unethical, low integrity auto sales people from the old days. Most sales people today are just trying to make a living and “DO THE RIGHT THING”. Not Brian Murphy. Brian Murphy has owed me what is a small amount of money since Aug.31,2020. Most people let it go but he promised me that and it is the principal. His location has now taken my drivers license and personal info. twice to facilitate this. He refuses to “DO THE RIGHT THING” as promised and send it to me. AutoNation Corporate help line is of no, zero help. No one ever returns the call, they do not care and there is no resolution there. I believe that most AutoNations are trying to “DO THE RIGHT THING” however I would be hesitant to trust and expect that Brian Murphy at this location will do as he has promised. You can buy a Subaru or any vehicle anywhere. Just do not purchase it at this location while he is in charge. More

Was told by the sales man that they were the "walmart of autosales' - disregarded the lack of professionalism, and proceeded to test drive a used Subaru outback. Unfortunately, salesman couldn't stick around to complete the deal, as he needed to pick up his kid at 4pm. No worries, came back the next morning when the sales guy was supposed to be there... Arrived, talked about the car, etc... Had a hard credit pull. Qualified buyer... Made an offer on the vehicle, to which the salesguy promptly threw his hands in the air talking about how we were "wasting his time" -- mind you, we hadn't taken up more than 15 minutes of his attention - and it was us that were intent on closing the deal the evening before, but needed to come back to finish up... Walked out. On the drive home, brother received a call from the sales mgr, adding why we left... He mentioned price, which wasn't entirely accurate. The mgr mentioned coming back, and that they could get a better interest rate if we wanted to still close the deal... I went to their website, to get the name and contact information for their general manager. The chat box asked why I wanted the info... Relayed my displeasure with the sales guy, and wanted to chat. Was told by the chat box that they would provide the requested information, I gave them my email and phone number... Did not receive the information over the course of about 40 hours elapsed. Few days later, on labor day - early in the day, I go back and inform the sales mgr of the unprofessional manner we were treated by his sales guy. He seemed responsive to the concerns, mentioning that they are not the "Walmart of car sales," and that they train their employees better than that yada yada yada... Don't treat customers like that, etc. I also asked if the internet site was a bot or human, as I had went there to get the GMs contact info... He said it is his sales guys working the software. I informed him of the unfulfilled request for the dealership's management contact info. Still haven't received the information requested almost a week later. The sales manager asked if I wanted to work the deal then, to which I declined - told him I'd be back later in the afternoon with my brother, whose car it would be. Second chances and all. Came back later with the brother to meet with another sales guy (who was admittedly better, more professional). (Four visits to the dealership if you are counting) Mentioned to the new sales guy about adjusting of interest that was offered by the sales mgr on the phone the previously. (or better, a slight discount on the posted price ) He goes and talks to sales mgr. Comes back and says it's a no go. He mentioned being able to throw in some accessories for the vehicle "off the books" - so that 'no paper trail' would exist - so the dealership wouldn't get 'in trouble' for "negotiating" on the car with corporate. I mention that it's not really negotiating, but simply requesting a show of good faith on their part; solely because the first sales guy was so unprofessional. Not to mention the time I had invested in the back and forth. He says he'll go talk to the sales mgr, and come out shortly, with him, to let us know what they could do to seal the deal... never came back out. Neither the second sales guy, nor the sales manager. Saw them goofing off at the workstation through the windows. At this point, we left again, and found another dealer that actually wanted to sell a car to a qualified buyer. Actually got a better car and deal at Rocky Mountain Eurosports off of leetsdale/oenida... Picked up a loaded unit, instead of the base line for the same money they were asking. I suppose I should thank them for jerking me and my brother around. Personally, I would stay away from this Subaru dealership - simply too many games being played by both the sales staff and management, not to mention severely lacking in professionalism as showed towards qualified pre-approved buyers. I reached out regarding about buying a new Forester and trading my current car in. I was sent a calendar appointment From Shannon Sandoval. I accidentally declined the appointment, and called to apologize and notify Shannon Sandoval I would be there. Once I arrived at AutoNation Subaru West I notified the front desk I was there to meet Shannon. The lady at the front desk asked me to wait. About fifteen minutes later I was greeted by Shayne who said Shannon was busy. Shayne asked what I was looking for and set me up with a test drive right away. Shayne also had a manager appraise my trade in while I was gone. Once I returned, I explained to Shayne what I could and could not afford, and asked about my trade in. I told Shayne I had an approval letter from Capital One and just needed to ride the right car. Shayne said he would be in touch and we would find what I wanted. Days went by and my calls and texts were not returned from Shayne. I never filled out a credit application with Shayne so I could not understand his unwillingness to help me. Was he judging me off the clothes I was wear or worse the color of my skin? On Thursday 6/11/2020 I again called AutoNation Subaru West to express my frustrations and still seek help with purchasing a new car. Why was I having to beg this dealership to purchase a car? Dennis Sharon apologized for my frustrations and offered to help me. I sent him over my offer letter from Capital One, and he said he would help me. We scheduled an appointment to have my trade in appraised again, because I never heard anything from Shayne, After speaking with Dennis Sharon I recieved text from Shayne demanding to know why I did not want to work with him. obviously because he ignored me for almost a week, however I did not respond. I arrived for my appoint and was met by Dennis Sharon with the car I was interested in and had reserved. I spoke with Dennis about my trade in, and the amount I needed for it. Dennis Sharon sent me on a test drive and was again going to have my trade in appraised. When I returned Dennis Sharon met me with an offer for my car and asked how my drive was. Their offer was $500 less than what I wanted, but I could make it work. I looked over the paperwork and noticed the car I was looking at was marked up $301 more than the sticker price. I asked Dennis Sharon why the price was higher, and he asked me to show him the sticker price. Dennis Sharon seen the sticker price and said he would go inside to investigate. I told Dennis if they corrected the price to the sticker price I would put the extra $200 with my down payment to resolve the left over $500 from my previous loan. Dennis Sharon returned and said it was a third party error and the increased price of the extra $301 was correct. I was shocked that Dennis Sharon was demanding the increased price instead of reducing it by $301 as the sticker stated. At this time I decided to walk away in disbelief. Today the sales manager called to apologize for his staff, and could not understand why I had three different sales agents. He asked what he could do to make it better? I simply asked for others customers to be treated equally. i chose to work with a different dealership and was not interested in anything he had to offer. I still cannot understand the reason for the terrible customer service I received, but I would not recommended this dealership to anyone. More
My first visit to auto nation Subaru was a nice experience. Today was horrific. My son and were verbally assaulted by a employee for parking in the handicap stall. Yes I'm a elderly women with experience. Today was horrific. My son and were verbally assaulted by a employee for parking in the handicap stall. Yes I'm a elderly women with a handicap. The employee approached me by calling me hey dude over and over again. My son 15 yrs old had to step between him and I because he was scared the man was going to hurt me. Then he went after my son. Screaming at him with profanity. F word. Totally unacceptable. It took 2 other employees to physically pull him away from my son. Keep your children far away from this place. No one should have to experience what we did today. The worst part is the general manager didn't seem to think it was a big deal. He didnt even get off his chair. More
Sales doesn't care, Service doesn't either I purchased a used Honda in January '20. Number 1, it took 4 hours for them to finish a cash deal. When I called for service during the three month w I purchased a used Honda in January '20. Number 1, it took 4 hours for them to finish a cash deal. When I called for service during the three month warranty I was ignored. I had my Honda serviced which required the battery to be disconnected. Upon reconnection the radio requires a code. Autonation never supplied me with this code. When I called then to obtain the code I was treated rudely by both service and sales and told to get it myself and was hung up on. I have never been treated so badly by any business and I'm 60! I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop there. More

Second time, got a salesman named Victor. He was rude, condescending, and raised his voice at me whenever I spoke. Either you get a sales person who knows nothing or is Victor. Oe of the vehicles we wanted to look at was advertised as a clean car fax but was obviously in an accident. Took our business to Groove Subaru and bought an Outback that night. We even received a Veterans discount. More
Out of state buyer I live in Las Vegas. I was searching to buy a car for my wife and had a few models in mind. After searching the local area via the internet and going I live in Las Vegas. I was searching to buy a car for my wife and had a few models in mind. After searching the local area via the internet and going to local dealers, I realized the Las Vegas market might not work to get a car with the options we wanted at a good price. I expanded my search to Arizona, California, Utah and Colorado. After finding a car out of town (one in Phoenix and one in San Diego), I called each dealer to let them know I was traveling to them that day to look at the car and, hopefully, buy it. Both times, the dealer sold the car before I could get to the dealer. I found a car that we liked at AutoNation Subaru West in Golden, CO (near Denver) and saw online that you could 'reserve' the car so they'd hold the car for a period of time (and not sell it) so we knew the car would be there for me to look at, test drive and buy. I was contacted by Sarah at the dealer and she answered my questions via phone, text and email. The next day, I had some more questions, but it was Sarah's day off, so Cody seamlessly worked with me to answer my questions while I decided when I could get to their dealership. I traveled to Golden, CO the next day and coordinated my arrival with Sarah. She was ready when I got to the dealership and we talked about the car and buying process. We took the car for a test drive and Sarah showed me how everything worked on the car (there were a lot of new safety features on the car that I didn't know how they worked). I decided to buy it. She got the paperwork started and knew I was on a timeline to drive away ASAP before the weather started getting bad in the mountains on my drive back to Vegas. I got my bank information for the loan together while she got the car prepped and the finance director, Rob, headed in my direction. After about an hour or so, we finished all the paperwork, they brought the car up and gave me all the finalized paperwork. I was able to drive away before the weather got worse and was happy to get started on my 11 hr drive back to Vegas. From first contact to driving away, everyone I dealt with at AutoNation Subaru West was friendly, professional and very helpful throughout the whole process. There were no 'hard sells' or 'good cop/bad cop' personalities at all during the process. Overall, we got a great car for a good price and had a great used car sales experience. Thanks Sarah, Cody, Rob and everyone at AutoNation Subaru West. More

Ryan Andersen was my sales consultant, and he was friendly, transparent, positive, and I did not feel pressure to make a decision. My car is still running great six months later and I feel I made a good and informed purchase at a reasonable price. More
