Going into the details of the experience of buying one car and just under a month later deciding to trade it in to the same dealership for a diff Going into the details of the experience of buying one car and just under a month later deciding to trade it in to the same dealership for a different model - without having received the title yet - would take forever for me to write and for you to read. A scenario like that sounds very scary, doesn’t it, considering the experiences most of us have had with car dealerships? But the day before yesterday, I drove away from Autonation Subaru West with a dream car – perfect fit for me – feeling a huge sense of relief and gratitude. These people are lovely human beings, intent on practicing fairness, practicality, and – amazingly – kindness. From Sales ( Brian Lee) to Management (Ted Maloch) to Finance (Liam whose last name I don’t remember), every person was sympathetic and helpful. If you’re considering a Subaru, this is most definitely the place to go. You’ll be as amazed as we were. And you’ll actually enjoy the experience. More

AVOID AUTONATION SUBARU WEST AT ALL COSTS! These guys are totally untrustworthy, especially the General Manager Brian Murphy. Let me explain… We have been loyal AutoNation customers for many These guys are totally untrustworthy, especially the General Manager Brian Murphy. Let me explain… We have been loyal AutoNation customers for many years, buying multiple new vehicles from them over the years, as well as taking our cars to their Service Dept for all Maintenance and repairs. Recently, they performed a “Condenser Unit Replacement” recall on our Forester, and the AutoNation Subaru West mechanic then FORGOT TO RE-CONNECT the two engine cooling fans after the repair. This caused our engine to overheat, and the head-gasket blew out. This mistake caused over $5,000 in engine damage, and AutoNation Subaru West REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ERROR! They did not even offer to pay for a PORTION of the repair bill! Can you believe that? When the Subaru mechanic took a look at the blown engine, he immediately said “well, both of your cooling fans are unplugged, so of course your engine was going to overheat and blow a head gasket.” So now we will be forced to spend ADDITIONAL money to hire a lawyer to take them to court to get them to pay for the damage they caused. So clearly their “12 month/12,000 mile guarantee” is a lie, and they are now trying to cheat us out of $5,000 by forcing us to pay for their error. This is typical behavior of con-men and thieves, in my opinion, and should not be tolerated by a company like Subaru, who prides themselves on being a positive member of the community. Please do not do business with AutoNation Subaru West in Golden, CO. They are a horrible business with dishonest leadership and an incompetent Service Dept. More

Chris Paulson was a delight to work with. I chose a vehicle that I wanted and then went home because I didn't have the title of my car for trade in. Chris scheduled another appointment and I I chose a vehicle that I wanted and then went home because I didn't have the title of my car for trade in.
