I purchased a 2013 Subaru Forester/base 5-stick manual, AWD V4 SUV/hatch crossover on 25 Jan '13 from salesman Chad Fairchild. Spent a month online searching for the car I wanted down to this model. Only AWD V4 SUV/hatch crossover on 25 Jan '13 from salesman Chad Fairchild. Spent a month online searching for the car I wanted down to this model. Only vehicle that had everything I wanted and I wasn't paying for fancy frill, just specs & tech-stuff. Made contact with Chad Fairchild a week+ before the final buy, he found 1 of maybe 3 5-speed-manuals in the Western US and got it here. Deep blue color is a favorite for me, and they had one in that shade. I told him what I wanted and what I didn't need, took out all the glam & kids love 'em kit, at 55 I don't need Bluetooth, just major VA dental yellow tooth-work! Chad sent a clone of the model out to my home with an employee to allow me to test drive the model. I took it for a 3.5-mile test drive in a snowy real pretty west side road and up one of our steepest hill climbs to test it on a slick/wet steep hill that I live almost at the summit of and have since 2001: I fell in love with the best car I have ever driven in my 36-years of driving many civilian vehicles all over, plus 20 years of driving/instructing my junior medics on 'Nam-era Jeeps to Desert Storm Bradley Fighting Vehicles. On day of sale I was picked-up by Chad at noon who came to my door with no directions needed from a dealership 17 miles from my home. He drove me out to the Appleway dealership. The various other staff I met were by far the most professional, knowledgable and personable folks I have ever met in any auto-dealership since I emigrated to the U.S. at 19 in 1976, joining-up for a Cold War. I was there maybe 3 hours. Their staff took as much time as I needed to get more familiar with some very nice kit in & outside the Forester. Then I drove Chad back to my stomping grounds, I think I passed his eval (?). Got back home around 3.30pm raining-up a storm, I parked it and Chad split with another employee who had followed us. I bought into some of your extended warranty and general upgrades that most would find useful like extending bumper to bumper from the basic 3-years/36K to 7-years and 100K, also their roadside assistance perks are very useful in a frozen part of Washington State 3-5 months out of most years. I paid $30K for the whole packet, money well spent. I am the happiest new Subaru driver/owner in the world. Kudos for Appleway really running a top-notch shop, I had a blast and I look forward to many memories ahead to make in my new dream SUV/hatch Forester. More
I had a wonderful purchasing experience from AppleWay Subaru. I myself is quite straight forward. Paul was the first person that talked with me. I told him that I had done research and got a number in my Subaru. I myself is quite straight forward. Paul was the first person that talked with me. I told him that I had done research and got a number in my head, also my desired model and trim. He was so efficient and professional and really understood my needs. He gave us a very detailed going-through of all the information about warranty and basic functions of my outback. It was extremely cold that night, but he still answered all my questions very patiently. He told me how to use all those buttons, how to setup the bluetooth and more. He was so smart that sometimes he answered my questions that I was about to ask. I left the dealership with great comfort. D.J is the one who finally decides the selling price. I was targeting a premium w/ AWP. He offered a great price for that one. My only concern for that car was the interior color was ivory. It's hard for us to maintain with a horrible 3 at home. He suggested the other 2.5i premium w/AWP and moonroof package. This car has a dark interior color. The rear camera is also a plus for me. For the whole negotiation process, I felt that he was honest and not pushy, and very friendly. Gail was not that involved in my purchasing, but he gave us snacks, water and also balloons for my little one. Thanks. Justin did all the paper work. He explained very carefully on each of the document I needed to sign. Overall, I had a wonderful purchasing experience from Appleway Subaru. The price I got might not be the best deal, not at least it was a very reasonable price. People there were friendly and straight forward, not wasting your time to bargain several rounds. More
My experiences at Appleway Subaru have been very positive! I was treated with kindness and respect. The professionalism and expertise of Patricio Soder is outstanding. He helped guide me through the process of selecting the car that would fit my needs and budget. His colleague,Coulter Owen, displayed similar characteristics. With their knowledge, both of these gentlemen are wonderful spokesmen for Subaru. Gale Swenson updated me frequently on when my car would arrive since I ordered it from the factory. His enthusiasm when the car arrived was fun. I got very excited and forgot about any buyer's remorse. Justin Rogers was a bonus going through the financial part. He treated me with more respect than the credit union I have belonged to for over 36 years. Overall comment.....IF YOU NEED A CAR, TRUCK OR VAN...GO TO APPLEWAY....IF YOU WANT A SUBARU,,,SEE PATRICIO AND COULTER !!!!!Virginia R. (Gina )Dietzen More
My wife and I came to Appleway Subaru looking for a Subaru STI. While they didn't have one ready to sell they did have a trade in that had just come in. It needed some work which they agreed to complet Subaru STI. While they didn't have one ready to sell they did have a trade in that had just come in. It needed some work which they agreed to complete at dealer cost on parts and would wave the labor cost which saved ~$2k off the sticker price. We had a misunderstanding over tires with our Salesman James Kaae but both he and his manager DJ Miller made it right by cutting us a check to help cover costs. A few days after recieving the car I noticed a squeal up front. I brought it in thinking that a power steering belt needed adjusting. Michael in service had my car back to me in less than an hour and had replaced the belt free of charge. And finally just last week I had snow tires put on at Discount Tire and they managed to sever my reverse lockout cable. I took it into Appleway and Michael gave me a new impreza for a loaner free of charge while they fixed the issue. Overall we are very pleased with Appleway Subaru and would recommend them to friends and family. More
I have purchased quite a few new cars but dealing with Appleway Subaru was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've ever had. Our salesman was friendly and knowledgable and helped us to get the car Appleway Subaru was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've ever had. Our salesman was friendly and knowledgable and helped us to get the car we were looking for. They had the car we were looking for though it had just been delivered a few hours earlier and had not been checking in yet. We did have to wait for it to be checked in as it was later in the evening on our first visit but the salesman made an appt with us and we went back test drove the car and bought it. The saleman was able to honestly answer all the questions about the car rather than just "talking" through it. I would recommend Appleway Subaru to anyone looking for a Subaru or Mazda. More
Recently I've been looking for a slightly used wrx, a very difficult find at a good price. Not only did these guys have exactly what I was looking for but on top of it the car was competitively priced an very difficult find at a good price. Not only did these guys have exactly what I was looking for but on top of it the car was competitively priced and in perfect condition. Appleway really cares about the quality of cars on its lot and actually probes to find out what you are looking for to set you up with exactly what you want/need. Paul was very professional through our entire transaction, which felt very smooth along the whole way. Cory was able to get the paperwork ready for my wife and I to sign on her lunch break. I feel like these guys really went above and beyond to make my experience the best it could be. My only regret with this purchase is that I didn't come here first. If you are looking for a new car, do yourself a favor and just stop by here. More
I came into the showroom looking for an SUV to replace my Jeep Liberty with. I am a kayaker and wanted something shorter in heighth than my Jeep in order to loan boats without a 3-step ladder. Colter was a great salesman, and listened to everything I wanted and needed, without pressure! The dealership offered such a great financing percentage that I couldn't pass up purchasing a new car. Kudos to Colter and Gary. I had a amazing day and am now trying to become "friendly" with my new car. I would recommend Appleway Subaru to anyone looking for a used or new vehicle. More
I got cold feet after depositing $3,000 for a new Outback at Appleway Subaru. Feeling a bit sheepish about going in and asking for my deposit back and was greeted by the Sales Manager (Gail Swenson) in a ve at Appleway Subaru. Feeling a bit sheepish about going in and asking for my deposit back and was greeted by the Sales Manager (Gail Swenson) in a very friendly manner. He, of course, tried to keep my business but he did it in a very professional, no pressure way. I was very impressed. I still didn't buy the car but not because of the dealership. Gail and the salesman (Paul) were wonderful. But I left with positive impressions of Appleway by the way Gail treated me even though he was losing a sale. More

We appreciated the fact that Chad Fairchild did everything he could to help us find a car that would fit our needs. He worked with us over the course of a few weeks in order to find our car. The quality of work was excellent. We received a "we owe" ticket for a key fab that was not working with the car we purchased. We came in the next business day and the problem was taken care of in under an hour. We were very pleased with the results as we received a working key fab free of charge. We worked with DJ for the actual paperwork in regards to terms and pricing. He was also pleasant and willing to work with us in order to find a price that was agreeable. I would recommend Appleway Subaru for your used or new vehicle shopping needs. More

I recently worked with David Doherty, who took his place as service consultant.I think David will also be very good. I have only "consulted with David once" at this point in time. Basically, I am very happy with the overall service I have received and the attitude of AppleWay employees. I am a retired college professor, and I want/expect good service for what I pay for. Thus far, AppleWay has not disappointed me. Dr. Shirley Hanson 509-473-9860 hansonshirley@comcast.net More
