Lance, the salesman, did a fantastic job! From the time I submitted the inquiry on-line, until I drove the car off the lot, Lance was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. He's a keeper! Test drive and purchased a new car and the process took about four hours. There wasn’t much sales pressure or pitches but there was seemingly little negotiating either. That may be a function of today’s market but with a bit of new inventory finally available you think there’d be some room. I’d like to have seen an invoice early on to break down fees better…destination and shipping costs are rolled into the sticker price. And while I’d call the whole process smooth, it’s still a dealership, like all dealerships, that want to upsell you. For instance, when discussing financing, I was initially offered a rate of over 5% when Subaru itself has a deal at 3.9% on their own website. I had to call that out. They offered paint and interior protection at over $600 each when you can do this with scotch guard and turtle wax at $9 a bottle. I was also offered to pay around $300 for rear window tinting even though the model I picked out already had that applied. I’m glad I didn’t agree, as they did waive that fee but I’m imagine they’d allow me to pay for it had I agreed. And a word to anyone considering a good warranty….you don’t have to buy this at time of purchase nor from this dealership. I’m certain that could get a better deal by calling around and may still do this. I don’t doubt I paid way too much. Now all that said, the dealership will s at least run by adults…it’s not a high pressure place full of young clowns looking to rip you off. But you should go in being aware of how and where they may upswell you. More
As usual I arrived for my appointment on time and was attended to by my service advisor George Wolfe in due course. We discussed the necessary requirements and as I was going to wait I took a seat in attended to by my service advisor George Wolfe in due course. I was regularly informed of progress by my Service Advisor. There was additional work required and this was discussed with me and my consent obtained. I service was completed and all was good. I was informed that regrettably the car wash was out of service but nevertheless my car was spotless. I shall return for all my future services More
I was advised a few months back that I needed brake service. AutoNation checked and advised that the brakes did not need brake pads at this time, and I wasn't charged for the appointment.
